I judge the gumbo at any given restaurant by whether or not I would order it again the next time I visit. I would rate the gumbo today as middle of the road. The roux was not burnt which is great and puts them ahead of many places. Unfortunately, the gumbo was very bland and the okra was mush. There was only one slice of sausage in the bowl and very small pieces of what I am guessing was chicken. The texture of the shrimp was on point, but the shrimp was gritty. Even still, the gumbo was ok if you're not expecting it like Momma cooks it. The service was great and the staff friendly. So would I order it again? I would probably give them another shot before making that permanent decision.

We ate at Rossetti's today. My niece wanted her mama, daddy and myself to try it. She's been going there on Mondays and wanted us to try the red beans special. My niece and I ordered, my sister and her husband got us a table. I ordered first and paid for mine and my sister. My niece ordered after me and she paid for her dad and hers. They gave us our cups and we all got our drinks. It was so busy, so we had a little wait. They came through and called my name and my sister and I got our food. My niece and her dad didn't get their food. When we asked, they ask my niece her name. They came back and said they couldn't find her ticket. I said well my niece did pay. Now everybody's food came in a plastic basket with a piece of paper with the food in a paper boat, pork chop on the side, cornbread on top of the beans, with the dessert in a styrofoam container with a lid. Now this is what everybody's in the entire place came in, even the ones they took outside to the patio. The guy brings my niece and her dad's food on a white styrofoam plate. Half the beans my sister and I got. A small end piece of cornbread. He plopped it on the table. My sister ask why they gave them less then we got. He said it was the same amount. But any body could see it was not. I said I feel like he thinks they didn't pay. So I got up and went to the counter and ask for the manager. Turns out the manager was the guy who brought our food. I ask him to check and find the ticket. He said he didn't have time to look up the ticket. I ask why their food was brought out on a different kind of plate. He said because he was in a hurry and just grabbed them. But if you're serving everyone in the place, food in plastic baskets with paper. You know the baskets are stacked up in the back with the paper already prepped and ready to go. After our talk he said if you want more beans I'll bring you more beans. He did, but with an attitude. After that he did come to our table with a better attitude and tried to apologize. By that time though it had already ruined the meal and our experience. Which is a shame because the food was very good. I'm old fashion, so I got a recite. My niece did not. My niece will probably go back. I will not. They made me feel awkward and I am going to call tomorrow and ask if they have cameras. I am going to ask them to review them and then apologize for the way we were treated. And he saw they had a cup with their drink in it, which was given to us after we paid.

Stopped by yesterday to grab some seafood and decided to eat at the restaurant. The meal was a great value, my only complaint was the shrimp were a little too greasy (I believe the oil may not have been hot enough). The potato salad and coleslaw were excellent so are the options in the seafood market. Check out their chicken wings! Excellent quality and value!Parking: Plenty of free parking available.

We were visiting the area, and always try to seek out local gems. This place fits that perfectly. Pretty sure that we and one other couple were the only non locals eating lunch here. We both decided on the shrimp boat and cup of gumbo. Both were very good, and very reasonably priced. We had paid a lot more for not nearly as good food. We will be back to this place on our next trip to the area.

Super experience! Clean windows, doors, floors and table tops. They offer a military discount. The use a POS tip choice. Food price and quantity is appropriate. We had the seafood platter, slaw and potato salad.

Went out to eat here on the 16th and ended up getting really sick for 3 days, my other half ate some of the leftover I had brought home and he to got sick from it as well. Before anyone wonders if it could of been something else no, i also have 2 boys that didnt eat any of it and was just fine. Also we didnt eat anything else that was the same before this and i couldnt eat anything after due to getting sick for 4 days. I'll be a bit more careful going out to eat. We ate the sea food platter

I love the baked chicken here. Many know that outside of fast food, getting good chicken in a sit down restaurant can be quite the search. But I could eat their baked chicken 3 days a week. They give you 1/2 of a chicken., that's tasty and tender. Eating at fast food costs more. The more I think about it, the more it makes me want to go today. It's really good. Don't go Mondays, they are out of chicken by noon.
