Good food. Service can be slow at times. Food sometimes takes a while to get out of they are busy. Usually only one side of the restaurant open at a time. Decent prices.

My Hibachi Chicken was excellent with Yum Yum sauce, of course. Loved the ginger salad too.

Good servers. Mediocre food. Got the fried Superman roll. True sushi expert here. If it wasn’t for the extra spicy mayo I requested on the side, the food would taste like nothing. Roll was very bland. Large portions but low quality. Nice atmosphere, but empty calories rolls. Won’t be back.

Definitely an underrated restaurant in a small town!! The food portions are very big. And definitely priced reasonably. They have sushi specials all day!! I definitely recommend if your are in booneville

Cost to eat there made significant price jump and food quality took a hit. Shrimp and chicken under cooked. The wonton over cooked. Girl at register

The new management is doing a good job. They have improved the quality of food and have added more hours which is desperately needed in Booneville. I especially like their gyoza and mixed fried rice. Overall, Yamato is a surprisingly good place to eat in a small town.

I used to go here at lease twice a week. The food was usually very good and the daytime (lunch) waitress was always very good. She even knew what drinks we were going to have and most of the time, what entrees we would be ordering. Lately they've changed their plates AND portions on the lunch and dinner offerings. They say it's the same amount of food, but its not. They also charge the same amount or more for these smaller portions. What a regular lunch plate at this place has, most other places offer this on their kids meals. The food has also been off lately. It doesn't taste as good/fresh as it once did. The sweet tea is awful now. It takes forever to get sushi. Long story short, until I hear that something has changed, I won't be back.

Always go for lunch. Staff is very busy, and I've only seen one waitress, but does the work of 20. She's always friendly and attentive. The food is outstanding, fresh, and plentiful. It's a must go, when in Booneville

Took about an hour for them to get my order right and by then it was cold. Didn't even get a fork to start with
