First time going to this place and was very satisfied with the service and the food was as authentic as Mississippi can get the crunchy tacos appeared hand made and fried to a crisp with potroast textured beef nice and tender the chimichunga nicely fried a little small but this was a lunch special and the tea was huge served in a pitcher for one and to mention the freshly made chips and salsa was to remember because first time I've seen the chips seasoned with chili powder and the salsa had real onion and cilantro seasoned and $26 for two was a bargain

We have eaten twice at the restaurant. Both times the amount and quality of the food were excellent. We had chicken fajitas and the meat was cut in nice large strips. This was a first for us as normally small strips. The bell peppers and onions were also large and well seasoned. If you desire a lot for you money this is a place for you. The inside of restaurant is a little worn, but value out ways that statement.

The customer service and food here is always awesome!! They get a little busy at times, but always get me taken care of in a quick, efficient and extremely friendly manner. I love this place!!Vegetarian options: I personally love the vegetarian quesadillas bc I don’t eat meat. They are absolutely delicious!

After calling in my order, which I do at least once a week, I went to pick up my order. Upon returning home, half of my food was missing. When I called the restaurant, I spoke with 3 people, all claiming to be a manager until I explained the situation. One gentleman said I had 2 options… 1) drive back to the restaurant and pick up my missing food or 2) bring the order back and get a refund. The most helpful lady told me that establishments all over were making mistakes. I informed her that I was dealing with her establishment and I wanted compensation for “their” mistake. She then went into explaining that periodically new staff was in training , i quickly cut her off and again told her, that is not my fault, FERNANDO’S messed my order up. Finally, she asked what would I like to have done, I explained that I would like for someone from the restaurant to bring my missing food. She agreed in a very condescending way, even when “she” showed up with my missing food, she had an attitude like I had ceated the problem. I will continue to order food from Fernando’s but they will go over ever box of food before I bring it back to my home and family! What used to be a wonderful eating establishment is becoming another disappointment… for that, I am dissapointed, angry and sad. 1 star at best.

This is my favorite restaurant in flowood. They provide great quality food, my favorite plate is the tacos tejanos, and their service is always expedient, even during the Lunch rush!

TLDR Wouldnt go again, wouldnt recommend.First, you should know, they only serve beer. Evidently they don't hold a liquor license, which is fine but we were very rudly informed of by our "waitress" who let us know people come there for the food (as though a fun drink isn't part of the experience people go for). And if you're not wanting a pint be sure to specify you'd like a small draft or they'll just bring and charge you for the big one.On the food! Everything tasted fresh out of a can or seasoning packet. Nothing was authentic. And I hope you're not wanting glasses or serving plates for your starters. If you are, ask up front, they're tryin "to save themselves on steps" even when the place is empty. The music isn't your traditional vibe but that's okay, it was a fun change up.

Poor foot at somewhat higher prices. Ordered fajitas and they didn't even bring out 6 Oz of steak for 3 tortillas along with small scoop of rice and beans. Lettuce and tortillas looked old and meat tasted freezer burnt. Waitress snatched our glasses when we handed them to her and frequently ignored us. This was my first and last time to eat here. Very run down looking too.

Good food only gets 3 star’s because they don’t have liquor so no margaritas etc only a few beers and the beer is a bit overpriced for restaurant of this type. Otherwise it was okay.
