Sunday at 730p at least 15 more trucks could find a place to park. Would be nice if the restaurant was running. Lot's of pot holes but I managed just fine.

The black eyed peas, rice & gravy and cornbread were delicious. The cornbread is sweet. As per another review the catfish was just at the salty level but it was good. If you like ketchup with your fish the sweetness would counter the salt. I would eat there again.

The name changed to The Deli Cafe or something like that... Prices up and food is down . I use to love this place. Plate lunces were $5.99 now it's up to $7 and $9. Catfish and greens was soooo salty I couldn't hardly eat it . I don't know who cooking back there now, but they need to learn how to cook turnip greens and throw the salt box away. This place has really went down. IIm very disappointed. No short orders anymore....oh well... it was a pleasure....it was good while it lasted

I walked in, there were two customers, no staff visible, and half the tables were dirty. I turned around and left. I do recommend the hot Deli inside the truck stop turnip greens, Black Eyed Peas, mashed potatoes with brown gravy and country fried steak

Great food.. the (TRUCKER BURGER)was so big and delicious for a cheap price you can't beat this place and the waitress was very nice she didn't talk or smile much but she made sure my table had everything it needed and was keeping the dining area so clean best truck stop waitress I've seen and I go to a lot and there is plenty of room for truck parking.. I went on Saturday july 21 about 6 PM and it was a peaceful place to eat and watch TV I will for sure be stopping on my way through again.

Worst patty melt. Overcooked... dry...Burnt patty and toast. I don't know what's up. Usually pretty good food.

Terrible experience. Expected good service and the waitress did not really know what was on the menu. Cook burned the red beans, they had no ribs. Food was tasteless and the food portions provided were a joke .Waited over an hour for food. Would not recommend.

Dinner apparently not their strong suit. The waitress provided no service and spoke so quietly I couldn't hear her and sported a pissed off look the whole time my wife and I were in there. My wife had chicken strips and fries which she said were pretty good. I had the pork chop dinner plate, which consisted of 2 thin deep fried chops and a half microwaved potato served in a Styrofoam container. Not what I was expecting, but the pork chops were good for what they were.

O lordy this place serves up some real home style food. You won't go away hungry. Inside the Shell station, closed on Sundays. Locals are always gathering for conversation and coffee. Yep, this chick will be back
