Was passing through, and I'm so glad my wife chose the fish fry great down home atmosphere, and the food was wonderful. Next time we're passing we're gonna stop foreshore .
The fish fry is always a nice, quiet place to eat on the weekends. Food is always good whether dining in or ordering takeout. Staff is friendly.

Ordered by phone, a Combination Plate w/Fish & Shrimp, coleslaw & Fries. 2 pieces fish, 3 shrimp, at near $20, some one needs to look into quantity vs quality. This Plate was more an appetizer than a meal. I know prices have gone up, but higher prices with less product??? Seriously, this was enough to have this family say “Enough is enough”!We will be hitting the food trucks and Catfish 1, after this.??????

I can't remember who our server was, but she was amazing & made it a much better experience. I think her name was Melissa, but I'm not sure. She's short with short blonde hair that had pink tips. Very attentive & helpful, even when overwhelmed. We couldn't have asked for a better server. The food was amazing too! The next time we're in Brookhaven, we will definitely be stopping back by & finding a table in her section!

Update: your shrimp were iced cold. May not have been in a fridge but they had to have been somewhere cold if you cooked them this morning. They were ice cold. Our waitess was very uninterested did not even ask if I needed a to go box and this picture was taken as we were leaving. I don't understand talking to the manager to make it right it should have been right to begin with.One of the worst meals I've ever had in my life in a catfish house. Tea terrible, shrimp right out of fridge several days old. Hushpuppies so hard could not crumble on my greens. No joke the worst ever!!!!

After all the great reviews I must say I was greatly disappointed. Ordered a combination platter Catfish and crab cakes. ?....Fish was ok...crab cakes and hush puppies were barely edible...Fries were hard and greasy. Husband said his shrimp ? tasted starchy. New to the area and was excited about trying this spot The food definitely did not match the prices. Absolutely no reason to return..
