The house is so fascinating. It is a treat to eat at a place that you also want to explore. Every room has a different feel but it is all cozy. They had a southern inspired meal when we went and it was really good!
Beautiful place. Such a rich history. Must see destination if you are even close. If you are a history buff, you will visit more than once. Owners have so much passion for Byhalia and the local history!

The owners are very friendly, and they love to talk about Thistledome's rich history. They are always restoring and improving the house. I would definitely recommend this to those who are history advocates, those who love traditionally made food, and those who are currently a living breathing human.
