Kinda lacking in the atmosphere department as it just seems a little bland inside but I think it draws from southern charm. This place holds a lot of special memories as it's been around since I was a child and my family knew the previous owner. The food is pretty good and has many options. By no means is it a Michelin 5 star but hey its good for what you get. Price wise is well managed as long as you know how to get the best for your money. Favorite is the chicken sandwich, tossed in bbq with bacon on texas toast with a side of fries and a blue lemonade. The blue lemonade to me doesnt taste much like blue lemonade and instead tastes like a blue slush but thats why I love it so much. They used to sell cheesecakes and whatnot but stopped for some reason. Still, their fried pies are great too. Coconut cream is a must have. Overall a 8 out of 10 as there are still a few things needing improvement.Kid-friendliness: Nice staff and very welcoming. Just make sure your kid behaves or it inconveniences others.Wheelchair accessibility: It has ramps on both sides of the entryway

Always nice and clean and so far the current staff are always polite. But, being that we’ve eaten at Chicken Nugget off and on for several years, something about the chicken nuggets have changed. Not sure if it’s the type of cooking oil they are using now or seasoning. That being said, they are still good.No salad bar anymore, which was “one” of our many reasons for coming to eat there. Keeping salad stored doesn’t make a very fresh and delicious salad. Ha

Food here is different from the rest of the town. They have one of the best home cook foods around. I enjoyed every food they had to offer and they offered a good variety of foods. May be pricy but the food is well worth the money. The people are nice. They have crowded spots but other than that I’ll eat there often.

My family and I have eaten here two years in a row leaving Philadelphia, MS. It's a great place to come sit down and have a good meal with a pleasant family atmosphere. If ever in Carthage, stop by here and grab a bite!

I am not from Mississippi. I live in Georgia, so I decided to visit The Chicken Nugget restaurant today while visiting family. My job consists of judging and monitoring restaurants' food and the treatment of their costumers [ all I can say about my job]. I was not here to work. To make a long story short. In all, I would give this restaurant 3 out 10. The service was bad. Drink machines were horrible, food unseasoned & atmosphere poor. The servers were not working. They stand around looking at people; like a goat looking at a new gate.
