I just had the best shrimp I've ever had in my life which is saying something because I truly love seafood and I'm an excellent cook myself. I ordered the shrimp and grits with a side salad, a side of asparagus, and root beer. On my way driving to Texas I wanted something a bit hardier than fast food. Love love the New Orleans Grill. Some of the best burgers in town and the red beans and rice are excellent. Always have good service, sometimes it may be slow but worth the wait. Great weekly lunch specials also.

Tried crawfish etouffe, gumbo, and jumbo fried shrimp. All were excellent. We were just passing through - but wish I could return to try shrimp and grits and red beans and rice. The fries are so good - perfect fry and spices. Also great hush puppies.
