Newk's in Clinton is not the normal Newk’s location I eat at but since it’s closer to my home, I decided to pick up salads after church for lunch a couple of weeks ago. BAD DECISION!! I ordered thru the app and customized my order as usual. When I get home and open both salads, there was barely enough lettuce and some of it looked withered, the cucumbers were old, and some of the croutons were stale. It’s like they put all the old ingredients in the to-go order! Lesson well learned…I’ll stick to the Newk’s on Old Canton Road. The only positive is that the order was made fast but now I know why.

Newks sent my order to the wrong table. The woman returned it. Management then tells me they will remake my order. Manager proceeds to send me with the same order some woman had just returned. Absolutely not. I know this can't be protocol... I have no idea what she did or didn't do to that food. The manager then tells me, well she didn't open it. I to HAD TO ask him to remake the food. I will not eat there again.

Absolutely disappointed in Clinton Newks. Ordered online the green goddess salad. When it was brought home. Absolutely nothing was green goddess. No avocado, paid extra for seasoned shrimp, 4 pieces . Added croutons there were none. I have been disappointed the last few times on orders but said nothing. Flowood MS Newks is top notch always go the extra mile but Clinton this will be my last visit.
The staff didn't want to be bothered when asked for condiments, silverware, or to go containers and couldn't have cared less or bother to respond when I mentioned their fountain machine was out of Coke.

Gentleman with longer dark hair and a beard greeted us, took our order, then immediately jumped in to help restock and clean tables. Even though they were slammed (Sunday after church), everyone was so friendly, cleaning, restocking, and hustling. My favorite Newks BY FAR!!!

Newk's used to be my favorite sandwich place in town. But it has slowly declined over the years, cutting far too many corners. They removed their wonderful roast beef sandwich from the menu a while ago, and now have replaced the fresh shrimp on their shrimp po boy with dry breaded shrimp, reminiscent of what you would get at a fast food place like Popeye's. Despite them obviously using cheaper ingredients, the price of the sandwich has not gone down a cent. The staff seem to be random college students that have little regard for the customers.I don't know if it's a manager change or what, but since about 2020 it has decreased in quality to the point that I no longer go there. I hope they get their act together.
