Hands down! Not a fluke! Best damn brisket I've ever had. Had to go twice before I made my decree. I made my way through my go to's. Pulled pork, baked beans, and ribs. With much satisfaction. So the brisket was today and I'm truly amazed how tender a steak could be. I was so stunned that I had to order the peach cobbler and coffee.Yes yes thank you Bob Bob for this place.

Cool country ambiance. Unfortunately the BBQ wasn't good. Food was definitely left over from lunch service. Pulled pork was stringy, dry, and had zero smoke flavor to it. To make it worse the sauce was heavy in sugar with no balance. Ribs had good "bite" to them but fatty and again zero flavor. Beans were heavy in sugar and chili powder and old. The hand cut fries were the best thing my $15 plate had going for it. There are too many good BBQ places in Columbus to justify going out of your way for this one.05/13/2022 Tried them again and was a complete waste of time. The small young server was extremely nice. Waited 30 minutes and could not get a pork plate. The heavy set bleached blonde was hanging out at a "reserved" section with her buddies. Have no idea how this place stays in business.

Based on a very fast take out order of 2 salads, I give 5 stars. Fast friendly service, good prices, great food, cool place. Can't complain one bit. Wish I could have dined in to take it all in during a busy lunch hour where it seems every local must go for burgers at lunch. I need to try far more then just salads to get a good take on the BBQ. Sucks cutting weight before a big meet!

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Today the lady at the front counter was very rude and nasty to me from the time I placed order over the phone, up until the time I arrived at restaurant in-person to pick-up food. It started with her rushing me off the phone when I called at 11:15 to place order for 10 plates. She rushed taking my order because she had a "long line of customers waiting". Although restaurant doesn't open until 11 am, she kept telling me I should've called earlier repeatedly, she was very negative and fussy. When I arrived in-person, my order was missing 2 drinks. When I told her I was missing drinks, she started ranting again about how my order should've been called in earlier along with a bunch of other unnecessary antics. I told her that I did the best that I could placing the order, but she kept being mouthy talking about what should've happened. At this point I was tired of her chastising me, so I informed her that 'I was the customer' and asked her to calm down. After I said that, she looked at me like she could snap. She then slap my credit card down on counter, and told the fair skinned gentlemen that was accompanying me "thank you sir". I have spent thousands of dollars and supported Bob Robert's restaurant over the years both personally and professionally that's why today blew me away. I am extremely disappointed and I will never forget how lowdown and crazy this woman act. When I returned to work, I found out that her name is Sandy! I figured she was a co-owner or someone very close to owner to act this way so boldly and continously. She was arrogant in her ignorance, unprofessional, and had a disgusting spirit. I will be sure to let my friends, family and co-workers know everything that happened and how she treated me. I can't help but wonder if all black customers are mistreated like I was or is she just evil

Looking for a local BBQ place for lunch. This place was it. The place was packed, service was great and fast. The ribs were fall off the bone delicious. The brisket was moist and fell apart. Was also delicious. The first indication that this was a good place to eat was the number of local businessmen and workers eating in there.
