This place rocks! Excellently prepared fried oysters, fine but minute hush puppies with a hint of onion, good coleslaw and nice folks who know what they are doing (need to return to leave more tip?) This little hole in the wall place is going on my playlist ! Loved it. Minimal hours of operation though. Will take friends, too!

Cajun? More like Caucasian. No spice. No seasoning. Would not recommend. No where close to anything in New Orleans I've ever had.

My first time eating at JuJu's shrimpboat. I ordered jumbo fried shrimp. It was ok. The shrimp was so big that it did not have much flavor. And I also ordered hush puppies. They were good, but very small and only was given three. I had key lime pie for dessert, it was good. My son ordered the same as me but got garlic bread instead of hush puppies. The garlic bread was not good that night. Too much garlic, could not eat it. I will go back and try the grilled shrimp and maybe the gator as well.

Edit - JuJu's is only open from 4 p to 8 p Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The hours are actually even less than that. I've tried twice recently to order but0 the orders were placed after 7:30 so the kitchen was already closed. Really? You are open 12 hours a week and you can't even take orders past 7:30?As much as Iove the food, the staff have turned me against this place.Original: Great food! I absolutely love going here. The staff is so friendly and will go out of their way to make sure you are well taken care of. If you go be sure to try the Shrimp & Grits.
