So I've been hearing about the Ribeyes at Bill's Creole and Steak Depot and I know my friend loves a good steak. So I told her we needed to check this place out. Bill's Creole and Steak Depot is a little off the beaten path in Flora, Mississippi, about 20 or 30 minutes north of Jackson, a few miles off US Highway 49 and just past the railroad track; you'll definitely need GPS. But it is definitely worth the trip. The steak tips are excellent, as are the loaded mashed potatoes and key lime pie. And the service is top notch. Just a good down home spot. Add your name to the legal pad and wait. Steaks are always great. Crab claws are always great. The comeback dressing and ranch both taste homemade. This is a classic hidden gem!
