Never disappoints! The only bad thing I can say about any of the Amerigos is there is never enough tables to satisfy demand. This large restaurant could stand to be even larger. Great food, great bar, and great experience.

Exactly what we were looking for in an Italian restaurant with a nice, but not too fancy, environment. The service was absolutely on point. The food was fast for a busy Sunday dinner and all was delicious. Go for the bruschetta or crab cakes over the cheese fritters for an appetizer. Definitely recommend the mushroom ravioli, and the tortellini with crab was great too.

I went here on a last minute date. I wanted Italian, and this popped up on my search in the area. There was a short wait, but we were offered the opportunity to forego the wait if we sat at the bar or a half booth near it. We took the half booth. The atmosphere was perfect for a date, even if by the bar. The lighting was right, it wasn't too noisy (except for a particularly loud couple on the patio, but they were tolerable until the door opened briefly), and the decor was subdued enough to not demand attention. The service was outstanding; the waiter was attentive and personable, and he really made the experience for us. But the superstar of the night was the food! We ordered an appetizer of crab cakes - a favorite of mine in any restaurant - and these were the absolutely, without a doubt, THE best I've ever tasted!! And our main entrees were just about as good; beautifully presented, flavorful, and well portioned. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant! 10 stars out of 5, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Had an amazing meal as always. I come every February near valentines to get he amazing strawberry tiramisu that they do. The tortellini with grilled salmon was awesome, and my server Jessica was the sweetest and checked on me often. A wonderful experience as

Waiter didn't know the difference between sweet and unsweetened tea, then decided to tell me "they came from the same picture"

I was recommended Amerigos and it was close to my hotel, so i made sure to visit. Restaurant in Flowood is nice, great ambiance, full of kind staff happy to assist. I sat at the bar and was taken care of by a man named Jeremy, great bartender. Pleasant servers were all over, and the patrons at the bar made it a great experience. Sadly my meal gave me feel a little ill, I won't hesitate to go back as oddly as that sounds. I ventured out on the menu and got something that might have been a bit off. Calamari was great... all in all, solid place to grab dinner.

We eat here once every week. My son came into town to celebrate my dad’s 80th birthday and we chose to eat lunch at Amerigos before his 8 hour drive home. After waiting 35 minutes we were called up to be seated. I then realized I had told them we had 4 instead of 5. It was an honest mistake. All 5 of us had been there waiting the 35 minutes. Lorena Melo refused to accommodate us! We were told we would have to wait another 35 minutes to be seated. She was very rude, unapologetic, and unaccommodating. We left and went to Half Shell. They got us right in especially when they heard of how we had just been treated.Amerigos just lost our business forever. Very sad as this is where we brought all out of town guests, our employees. and ourselves once a week.
