The last time we visited this IHOP, I could tell it was struggling and that was years ago. We decided to give it another try and regretted it! We got sat down almost immediately, but the wait on a server and food took forever. They were short staffed, and the area we sat in definitely needed cleaning. It was freezing in there and cold on the outside, but we were told they couldn't do anything about the air. Then when it came to our order, I knew it would be wrong because the young lady didn't bother writing it down, but she was sweet. When the food finally came out 45 minutes later, of course the order was wrong and the chicken strips we had were not fully cooked. The server did bring us out a fresh batch when we finally got our ticket. There were many people waiting a long time to be seated and no one at the front to assist when we were leaving. We use to love going to IHOP back in the day and I don't think I'll be visiting another one anytime soon.

Was seated at 1035am with a table of 10 plus people. The first waitress left after taking our drink order never saw her again. Another waitress came to take our food order, I asked about our drinks and asked about the drinks....apparently waitress number one never put in the order. One and a half ours later saw waitress once and still no food. Spoke with the manager and pretty much was told we were priority. The manager and cook got into an argument and you would hear it throughout the entire restaurant them yelling. The food finally was brought out two plates at a time every 10 minutes or so.

This place is the desperate need of help, I understand being short-staffed as I have dealt with it many times. But what I saw was crazy. Servers were standing around who could have been going around and bussing the tables. I sat there an hour and a 1/2.And only saw two tables worth of food come out before I decided I had to leave. The place was dirty and unorganized.As some of the staff stood around not knowing what to do they need a good general manager who can sort this stuff out. And if you're not getting valid applicants, then maybe you should raise your rates.That's how people want to get hired in this climate.

Save yourself the hassle. If you REALLY REALLY want IHOP then I'd suggest risking your life with the North Jackson location because the Flowwod location is terrible. I've walked out before having my order taken 3 different times because of cleanliness or excessively long wait times. If there were another place to get a plate of crepes then I'd never give IHOP a second glance... everytime I leave disappointed, I just go to "not another broken egg" or worst case scenario, waffle house.Save yourself the disappointment, headache and inconvenience. Eat, literally, anywhere else.

Our family visited the I-hop location in Flowood this morning. This was our first time eating there and we had a party of 8. We was seated immediately. The young man that took our orders was also the cook, he got the entire order RIGHT on the 1st rip! My Big Steak omelette was perfect and everyone else really enjoyed their food as well. Thank you sir. We appreciate you for a wonderful customer service experience. Another staff member help as well, we didn't get her name but thank you young lady. They were short staffed but other then that, everything was smooth and perfect.

Woke up craving pancakes.. Had to make a run to Flowood today.. Was really looking forward to eating pancakes at IHOP while I was there doing business.. All I can say is, my butter wouldn’t even start to melt. I dug down a couple, but no.. still didn’t melt.. I’m just saying, This is a pancake house.. I did tell the waitress and she asked if I would like it warmed up? No.. I don’t want want it nuked.. I was having a really good day. So, I just ate some it it and I’ll nuke the leftover at home.. lol
This has been the worst experience at IHOP tonight. Our food was cold, our sever did not get oue order right twice. Our 3 year old had to wait 30 mins to get one pancake. We will definitely not be back.

We waited a good a bit for the food. The server was very kind, but she would forget details of our order since she didn’t write it down. Some of the food didn’t look as nice as the photos but it was fine. My main thing was the silverware was dirty and greasy looking. One of the fruit bowls had crust on it around the edges of some kind, and stuff on the fruit. I found some hair in my toast and it was cut with some kind of dirty knife.Atmosphere was fine. Severs we’re kind at least and friendly.
