The salad is fresh and tasty. I have gone several days in a row. I think the only thing I would say is the customers walking through the door should receive a more friendly greeting. When no one else is in the store and I have walked in, the male owner has walked to the back after looking directly in my face without speaking. It is not a welcoming feeling. If that issue can be corrected, then I will continue to patronize this business.

this place was really good. it’s small but we’d heard about it and wanted a healthy place to get lunch at. so we went here and it was delicious! i love the half pair. it’s a lot like newk’s but honestly tastes better! i got the cali club and loaded potato soup it was really good and fresh. the bread was perfectly toasted and the soup had potatoes with skin still on so it felt so fresh and delicious. my mom got the miso sesame salad she she liked it and the berry ginger dressing and chow mein noodle crunches. overall it was good and we got cookies! theyre handbaked and delicious. it was good we will be coming back especially good for a pick-up

I think that this place needs to be shut down or needs to be bought out by another owner....One thing that I don't like is when I go somewhere and they try to overcharge you for every little thing and they want to give you only very small portions of everything and this place does just that....

Ate at the big salad a few times since its close to my work and I feel like the salads get smaller every single time I go and for the price and the name the BIG salad, they are tiny and over priced and honestly gross. I've gotten one salad for over 16 dollars for adding Just a few toppings. The salads are always underwhelming and the service is always quite slow considering it's literally putting stuff in a bowl. Sad. But I don't think I'll be giving this another chance.

Was wanting a good salad for lunch and just happen to see the sign "The Big Salad". I tried the Southwest Chicken and it did not disappoint. Very good!!! Will be trying some of the others.

Excellent!!! I ordered the southwestern salad and spicy Thai soup and both were delicious, fresh, and satisfying!

I tried this salad restaurant one day after eating at Salad Station. I much prefer the latter. Prices were too high for what you get on a basic salad and add-ins made it cost as much as a lunch meal at Amerigo's would have cost me. I'll take my salad business a mile down the highway to Salad Station from now on. Sorry, Big Salad.

Location: The Big Salad is located in Flowood near JC Penny on the same side as the cookie store. This location has been operating for six months. Service: David, who is the owner, was accommodating. He was patient as he explained the various options and offerings. I signed up for the rewards program and received a free soup, and my meal was discounted. Entree: I ordered the Bravocado salad. The base green is rocket romaine, and it also contains garden spinach. I chose grilled chicken as my protein. The taste was excellent, and the cucumbers and avocado were complimented perfectly by the dressing. It was a little spicy, but I have a sensitive palate for spicy foods. The produce and proteins are chopped which minimizes the "cutting" salad process. Price: The price is competitive with restaurants in the area. My original price was $14, but I received a discount as I stated previously for signing up for the rewards program. Big Salad is a welcome addition to Rankin County, the variety of salads, sandwiches, and wraps offer something for everyone.

I was in Jackson in the mid 1980s on business and we ate at the Mayflower every day. It left an amazing impact. I will be bringing my wife down from St Louis to see the Natchez Trace AND the Mayflower. Great service and great food!
