There is a difference between " relaxing and enjoying the ambiance" and being left to die of thirst for 30 minutes waiting on a server

The menu is quite limited, and the server acted like she was annoyed that we were there. And then the oysters gave me a stomach ache. A very pleasant setting but it's time for new management.

Just had their catfish and grilled shrimp basket - was delicious. The potato soup and burger was enjoyed by others in our party.

Great food. Alligator tail appetizer was fabulous. Crawfish po boy was absolutely stuffed. Redfish salad was wonderful, nicely seasoned, and perfectly cooked. The view of the water feom the outside patio made the meal relaxing. Overall a great experience.

Great atmosphere, must be fun during nice weather. Burger was just OK. With larger patty size and fresh beef, I think they'd sell a ton. Fries were good, but again, smaller portion.

Great almost hidden place! Chili was amazing and worth a trip just for that. Burger and crawfish po boy we’re good
Genesis (bartender inside and waitress everywhere) was terrific!Fish was tasty; but, its very fishy aroma attracted many flies.

Had the Blackened Alligator, was absolutely delicious but I felt like it wasn't worth the money for the lack of Alligator you got. Came with a good amount of fries but only about 9 pieces of gator for $19. I usually get gater at other places that give you double or triple the amount for half the price. I had the Grouper basket which was good. Fries (seasoned) were also great. Grouper was only available fried, with how good the gator was blackened I was hoping to get it blackened but wasn't available....not sure if that is always the case or just the other day when we went. Honestly if it wasn't for that huge mark up on the gator I would have given full 5 stars

We went just for the gator tails order them, and couldn’t find them on the plate 18.95 and had to ask the waitress where were the gator tails she said I’m sorry that’s how they come well they brought us a second order which was 10 times better than the first but just the fact you had to complain. Don’t know if we will return to Hawks Cove.Parking: We have never had a problem with parking at Hucks Cove

On 2 separate occasions I gave tried to eat here. Both times, it was during posted working hours. This is according to on-line and at the restaurant. One time, the outside neon sign was lit as open. Both times, the restaurant was closed. Not sure it's worth the time to try and attempt it again.
