“Well, Rick's Drive Inn was a happy accident! I got off I-55 at Durant for some BBQ and that place didn't look open and there weren't any other obvious options so I continued South to Goodman. I almost missed this place as the location on maps is a little off. I ordered the Big Nasty combo which is a half pound burger with fries and a drink. It is a fired burger but I have to say it was one of the best fried burgers I've ever had! The fries were cooked well and everything was super fresh. Ms. Geraldine is the sweetest lady! She took my order and while I waited I listened to her great everyone with the same friendly enthusiasm ending with an affectionate "baby" or "honey"! The place is super clean too which is super important! Make the stop!”

“Don't know too much about this place was waiting on a bus and didn't go in, but the place was packed when I got there and was still packed when I left. So they bound to have good food and customer service because no one left looking angry.”

“Ella Miller is the best cook we have ever had. We traveled 7 1/2 hours to visit our ancestors homeland in Lexington MS and fell in love with this place. The food was plentiful, tasty, fast and filling. All the sides were unbelievably delicious. The fried green potatoes, fried corn and candied yams were to die for. Parking was convenient and accessibility was met for my 85 year old mom. Ella went above and beyond and even walked us to our vehicle afterwards. If you live within 8 hours you should plan a trip to the Southern Barrel restaurant in Lexington, MS. We will be back. We Love you Ella Miller!!!”

“Been there twice and it doesn't disappoint.. the burgers, Philly cheese steak, and the loaded potatoes are awesome. Most employees were very nice. Wish they had a place to sit and eat this is a take out restaurant only.”

“This is the only show in town for pizza, so be glad it's here! We had the pepperoni pizza and it was pretty good. We called in the order and it was ready by the time we got there. They have a salad bar with lots of options. Nothing fancy but we were glad to get some pizza in a town without much in it.”

“This place is fantastic. Southern fresh food. All you can eat catfish buffet. It's out of the way, friendly and armed lol (dude, it's the south). The yams are delicious. The catfish is fresh and has 0 fish taste. For any city slicker , this is a must see. We visited in 2022. It's also called "one mile catfish house"”
