There is not enough I can say about old running restaurant. The grill is well seasoned! Along with the staff, they don't miss a beat! We enjoyed the hot tamales, salad, steak and spaghetti and meatballs.You will enjoy being able to sit in the kitchen and walking through the grill area. The grill area is at the front door! While you're on the way to your seat feel free to grab a drink of your choice.Lots of great memorabilia posted on the wall for everyone to enjoy.

Amazing steak. Awesome staff, and what else do you want? The atmosphere is unique, but I knew that going in. Not a fancy white table cloth kind of place. But smiles, good fries and a ribeye as good as they come! Legit.

And save room for thick-cut steak frys cooked perfectly in peanut oil. Enjoy a MS brewed beer or BYOB. This icon of southern cuisine is not to be missed.

On Friday, on February 16th I made a reservation for Saturday, February 17th for 5:30 PM which is the time my Wife and I arrived. We were seated in this room that may hold 8 tables. We sat and watched everyone in the room being served and no one came to our table to serve us for at least 25 minutes. About that time, I stood up to leave and a waitress came to our table and asked have we been served, and I stated that we were leaving because I was upset on how long we waited. She offered us an appetizer on the house to convince us to stay. We ordered our meal, and it was not all that. I been to better steak houses, and the ambience there was very poor, there are no emergency exits, and the bathroom condition was poor. I don't see why the place have not been shut down by the health dept. in Greenville, Ms. When you enter into the place, you walk through the kitchen where the potatoes and the salad is being prepared and the steaks are being prep. It is a total disgraced why this place has not been updated. We could have gone to a hamburger joint to eat and had better service. The small paper menu was horrible with not much to order. Mc Donald French Fries taste much better. I live in Houston, Texas, and there are much better places to go sit and have a good steak in a much cleaner and better atmosphere. Does Eat Place, get it together or close your doors!!!!

Life long customer and friend. We always have an excellent experience every time we eat at Doe's. The atmosphere is as unique and delicious as the food.
Do not waste your time. I travel every week and took 1.5 hrs to drive for dinner as I was in the area as I've seen this establishment on several food channel shows. I was the only individual at the establishment, not a good environment, got up halfway thru my meal to use the bathroom and came out to my table cleaned, other sitting at my table so lost half a steak and beer. Don't go.

The food was good especially their tamales. It was about 13 years ago when I ate there I got the $35 steak. First time I paid for a $35 steak salad didn't come with that. It was an extra $4 and all it was was a little bit of lettuce two wedges of tomato and a pinch of shredded cheese it came in one of those little dessert bowls. Overall I enjoyed it the food was good best tamales I ever ate.

Wait staff horrible. Slow sad didn't want to be there. Had a $200 gift card and still spent another $30 before the tip. 2 filets and fried and broiled shrimp. $7 for salad that was just olive oil and lettuce $2 for each piece of bread. Had water to drink. Not worth the money or wait.
