Our waitress was a teen who didn't do her job very well. Kept us waiting to order for almost 15 minutes because she thought she already took our order in her head. The wait was a lot longer than most restaurants I've eaten at and it wasn't even that busy. When the food came, it was fresh and hot, but the cocktail sauce and tartar sauce were days old and shouldn't have been served. The cocktail sauce was congealed when I stirred it up to mix the water that had separated back into the sauce... same with the tartar sauce. They need to serve fresher condiments.When it came time to pay the ticket, the girl put the device on the table for me to pay with my card and when the survey came up on the device, she made sure I left her a praising survey and tapped some things for me without my consent and then made jokes about it, like discreet peer pressure. Same with the tip. Sorry kid, you're not actually good at your job and the place is overpriced. Never coming here again. It was good in the 90's though!

Not the most popular brunch spot yet so it isn’t too crowded, great atmosphere and super fast service. We always have a good time! Right on the river with a great view. Our server Desiree was super attentive and doubled as our bartender. We didn’t lack in service at all! ?

I used to do restaurants mystery shops for a living so I will give you my professional opinion. I will start with the negative and move to the positive. We googled places that celebrates birthdays in Gulfport, and blowfly was in the top 5. They do not do anything for birthdays and the second thing is that on the internet it says the price range is $10-$30 which is definitely not correct. The plates started at $11 to 39. Now the positive every bite of food was delicious. The fried food was like no one else’s absolutely unbelievable. We ordered the cootery board, the steak and the soup. Everything tasted like a fine dining restaurant. The service was fantastic atmosphere fantastic and the food was fantastic. And while they didn’t do anything for birthdays, we did get a strawberry cream funnel cake that was unbelievable. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Emily D was our server. She was amazing. Food was so delicious. My fav was definitely the boudin balls! Hubby absolutely loved his black and blue burger. So juicy and the blue cheese was baked in the meat! We will absolutely be going back again! Happy Hour specials too! Great hidden gem!
