I keep hearing how great the bakery is. She was completely rude and acted like I was wasting her time. I got a couple of her small cheesecake, tirimisu and couple other things. Didn't get the free coffee they keep advertising. I tried what I got it was absolutely nasty. I trashed it all. I would never go back or recommend it. Especially when you get treated like you are wasting her time and the food is nasty

I really enjoy these overpriced cupcakes. I would go more often if I could. Every flavor of cupcake and dessert I have tried here has been delicious. Staff are always super friendly and patient while I choose from the large selection. Seems pretty clean.

I was really excited to try their king cakes. I had the King Cake with strawberry cream cheese and was pretty disappointed. Where’s the strawberry and cream cheese frosting? I could use more of that. I definitely tasted the glaze and colored sugar though.

Wonderful little shop. I am glad I found it. I tried a few different items, and they were all absolutely delicious!! The lady working was super sweet and the prices were good. I was honestly expecting a higher bill than what it was. They also have a punch card to earn a free cuocake!

I ordered a King Cake for shipping to Fy Myers Fla, as I have done for the last several years. My friend has shared with me that hers are the best she has ever eaten, and I have sent her King cakes from Randazzo’s, Haydell’s, and many more famous name, bakeries. When the cake arrived, my friend could see the box was damaged, but what was inside was worse. The sugars were put in plastic containers, not bags as they had been in previous years, which were busted open, and sugar was everywhere. My friend immediately had to take the box outside, as sugar was everywhere in her house The saran wrap over the king cake was torn off as well. I had called just to talk to Melissa about how it arrived. . The woman I spoke with was the one who I placed the order with as well. She was very helpful, and said that she would have Melissa call me when she got back from running errands. It’s been over a week now, and I’ve not heard from Melissa yet. I didn’t want anything for free, I mainly wanted to let her know how it arrived. To purchase and ship this cake with $66. Surely there are other shipping options?? If I had to pay five to $10 more to have it shipped in a different manner, I would be glad to pay that other than to have it arrive the way it did . I Was disappointed that Melissa could not take the time to call me. This will be the last one that I purchase.

I use to buy Bavarian Cream cakes here all the time, but the last one I bought had a long gray or silver hair in it (and those cakes are expensive!) Needless to say, no one wanted to eat any more after that. Sorry but we won't be back. You only get one chance with hair in the cake. And not on the cake, but IN the cake. NOTE: WHO EVER MAKES THE CAKES WITH LONG GRAY HAIR NEEDS TO WEAR A HAIRNET.

We got a king cake today, we didn’t even leave the parking lot, my husband got out his pocket knife to cut it and we used our hands to shovel this deliciousness into our mouths. Absolutely the best king cake we have ever had. We got the blueberry filling this time and plan to go back and try every flavor. We have also tried the cheesecakes, and ordered a custom cake a few years ago that blew us away. I can’t stress enough how amazing the king cake is, worth EVERY penny!

Paid $125.00 for my daughter's birthday cake, this cake was so nasty and hard. Cake wasn't moist, the older lady made feel like I had hurry and purchase and get out. Terrible experience, never again.
Melissas Bakery came through at the last minute for a birthday cake. Totally killed it! Cake was on point and looked amazing.

My son's wedding on 11-18-23, I sent and idea of what I wanted for cupcakes and an 8 inch cake and a variety of delicious Truffle. The cupcakes were the bigger size and I wanted bling with Navy/white with little gold pearl size candies sprinkled on top . With a variety of chocolate, vanilla and red velvet. The cake was absolutely gorgeous and it was chocolate. Everyone loved them. Melissa thank you and your staff for helping make rehearsal dinner perfect.

I purchased a custom heart shaped birthday cake from Melissa’s a couple of weeks ago and was extremely disappointed once I got it. The design was absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted, but the actual cake itself was terrible. It was so dry and bland, I couldn’t even finish my one slice. I was so sad because my friend and I were so excited for our joint birthday cake and we paid a good amount of money for it to be the worst cake I’ve had. If you want a beautiful cake that doesn’t taste good, Melissa’s is the place. If not, I suggest you look elsewhere.
