“Family was looking for some good Asian food in Gulfport (we live in Biloxi).Outstanding food. The chicken fried rice was the best I have eaten in Mississippi. My vermicelli with marinated beef was amazing. The egg roles and spring roles were good to.My wife also loved the papaya salad which you don't see served often. It was very sweet and very good. The portion sizes are large. You do get a lot of food for your money.Only slight complaint is it takes a few minute to cook. Totally worth it because the food is fresh and delicious. Perfect for dining in. If you ate in a hurry hit it during a long lunch break or if you have time.I was blown away by the food here. Prices are in the 10-20 dollar range for most entrees but you get a lot of food.Would recommend and the family will come back here again.“

“Basil’s has become our Friday night place to eat since moving to Diamondhead. I love Thai and Vietnamese food and I can get both at Basil’s. Their Tom Kha coconut with shrimp soup is fabulous. Their Spring rolls, pineapple fried rice and curries are great. Helping are big, food is well seasoned and hot (heat wise). Small but clean, reasonably priced and served in a timely manner. Located off the beaten path, they are a locals hideaway and do a busy takeout business. If you’re there on a Friday night and see a Jeep named Bigfoot, that’ll be us. Stop in and say hello.“
