Normally love Cracker Barrel. Ordered baked sweet potato but didn't want pecans or syrup or anything extras. Assumed it came with butter & maybe brown sugar. Nope, took almost 45 min to get a plain sweet potato thrown in a plastic container, no butter, no brown sugar no utensils and the potato was uncut and raw in the middle. Real disappointing.

Rated 5 star because it is exactly what you expect, really good breakfast food from a national chain. When I asked for extra syrup they brought some in little cups, not the bottles...waitress said it was the same, but you can't fool me.

Once again almost a month later I ordered impossible sausage and there was pork on my plate. The manager apologized and said she would speak with the cook. The waitress (Megan W) acted as if it wasn't a big deal. To a vegetarian it is a big deal. Was is happening to SERVICE.?

Make sure you check to go orders, my last 3 orders have all been shorted cornbread/biscuits. Thankfully I checked last two orders but yesterday was worst as it took over 30 minutes to get cornbread and biscuits.

We stopped for lunch at this location of Cracker Barrel on our large bus tour group. I love Cracker Barrel overall and always find something yummy and adorable in their gift shop.Our Server was very friendly, helpful and fast. The restaurant was at capacity and very loud but staff remained focused and calm, thank you! I had beef, mashed potatoes and broccoli, all of which were very tasty. Everyone I dined with were satisfied with their meal.Long line to check out with some customers taking it upon themselves to create a new line for themselves (lol).

Food took forever to arrive! Entire entree was Luke warm at best. I sent it back & waitress came back with the same exact plate....not even warmed up. She said manager sent her back out with it. Sent it back again & received a slightly warmer entree. I was also told at this time that the manager would be right out. Another 10 minutes later, she finally arrived. I explained the situation & she said give her just a minute......no apology or explanation. After another 10 minutes, she arrived back with a new receipt only charging for my father's lunch, which also had cold side dishes that had to be remade. I spent 2 hours from sitting down to checking out! This was at 1:20 in the afternoon so no longer peak time! Service was ok but she seemed pretty forgetful & should never have returned with the same plate that she took to kitchen.

My family has enjoyed your restaurant in Hattiesburg MS for years however today will likely be the last time we attempt to dine there. We arrived and the restaurant was fairly empty, the hostess was kind and quickly seated us and brought a high chair for our toddler but sadly that is the final experience we had with any staff. We never had a server even come and take our drink order. We looked over the menu for a while and made our selections however we waited, and waited but no one ever showed us any attention. Roughly 20-30 minutes after we were seated another couple came in was seated and immediately had a waitress take their drink order. We thought we’d wait a little while longer but shortly after the couple, who came in after us, was already having their order taken and no one even looked our way. All while we were doing our best to entertain our cranky hungry son. We felt embarrassed and like our business wasn’t valued to this restaurant and left. Very unlikely to return to this or any other Cracker Barrel.
