My husband and I passed through Hattiesburg Once a year and each time we stop at this restaurant, the food is outstanding. We couldn't believe it last night. We got the same server that we had 1 year ago. His name is James. He is very very good. He's very kind and respectable. And he gives great service. The food is delicious. If you like raw oysters, this is the place to go. The crab and shrimp dip is delicious, Also we got. I think it was called the big reds. They are shrimp that Really taste like lobster. The thing that we enjoyed besides the food was the service. James is just plain great. He's on the ball with everything. He makes suggestions without being pushy. And if you have enough room at the end, try the bread pudding. Thank you again, james for helping make our anniversary specialWheelchair accessibility: I personally am in a wheelchair. It was very easy to get in and out of the parking lot and also the ladies room.

Wow! Tasty, scrumptious food. Great service. Upscale ambiance. this is the type of place that Minnie will find to be an excellent choice for a special occasion out. The oyster sampler platter is a great choice if you can't make up your mind about which oyster entrée to order. However, keep in mind, if you order the charbroiled oysters, they're likely to shrink to be so small there's hardly anything there to eat. The charbroiled oysters are included in the sampler platter. The crab shrimp appetizer dip is also quite tasty. You'll note from the picture below slightly toasty slices of bread accompany the dish. The shrimp dish is called the Royal reds entrée. It is 1 pound of Cajun seasoned shrimp served with melted butter, lemon, and seasonings. It is a substantial and welcome offering. these are large shrimp about the length of the blade of a steak knife. Overall, this is a fabulous place to eat. You can't go wrong here if you like seafood, especially the oysters.

Took my wife there last saturday around 5 PM, only about a 15 kinuite wait so not bad. We ordered the oyseter sampler (dozen) and though the oysters were on the smaller side they were tasty, unfortunately thats where the positives for the food ends. My wife got the royal reds with bisque and mashed potatoes. Sadly it seems like they were boiled in plain water without any seasoning. Her bisque was sweet for some reason which caught us both off guard. Potatoes were nothing to wirte home about either and she found herself reaching for the salt, black pepper, and hot sauce on the table. I ordered the royal redfish and a side of jalapeño hish puppies, the hushpuppies were small, dense and flavorless. Seems like they were frozen pre-packaged in bulk. The redfish seemed like it had been cooked last night and reheated in a microwave. Potatoes and asparagus that the meal came with were plain and again lacking seasoning. Our waitress was attentive though. The bill came out to about 100 dollars before tip. Overall disappointing for the price.

Great food & service from bar staff. They were knowledgeable of gluten allergies but no GF crackers/bread for oyster eaters. We knew to bring our own. Would & will go back when we have an opportunity.
Service was amazing. Food came out in great timing. This was a great vibe and the waiter was awesome.
