I personally love Ikko. It is an affordable ramen place out of all the Hattiesburg options I've tried. I like the Ikko buns since it is hard to find bao up here. The crab puffs are also delcious. The donburi or poke is a good alternative to ramen. Ikko tries to liven it up with a robot delivery system, which is cute.

I love their food! I will keep buying that food even though the service this last time wasn't great. I went during lunch, and sadly the kitty robot wasn't in use. On previous visits the atmosphere would have gotten 5 stars because of the service and robot. This lunch visit though was dull. Only one server and 5 occupied tables. It made me wonder if they were getting enough business. I average the 3 (last visit) with the 5 (previous visit) to get a 4. I hope Ikko does well, I'd be sad if they closed!

I’ve eaten at this place a bunch of times and usually there isn’t a problem. Apparently they are under new management, older guy by the name of EKO, and he is rude and does not speak English well. I tried to explain an issue I had with my order and he just kept telling me I need to pay and he can’t cancel my order. I kept trying to explain what was wrong and he eventually gave me his phone to use google translate. However, that still did not help! He just kept saying he just walked on as manager and couldn’t help me. Highly disappointed with this new management.

The food was alright. Only one server? Not many people here? I was charged $1.50 for yum yum sauce. We ordered two signature sushi rolls and corn egg soup - both were good but not good enough to come back. It was an odd experience honestly. I got a sushi roll and soup and paid over $20.
