Food was subpar, to say the least and the service was even worse it wasn't super busy, but they had one big group and that's where the waiters was focused on I sat with and empty cup for more than have the time I was there. It wasn't worth the drive and the money I wasted.

The food and service here are wonderful! I actually really like the atmosphere despite the 3☆. The food is very upscale, both in the flavors and presentation, yet the atmosphere is more like a pub and not an upscale pub. I love both, but if I'm at a pub for lunch, I want pub food, not a $100 gourmet meal for two. Gabby was a wonderfully attentive waitress! I'll definitely order food to go from here and if they ever remodel, I'll be first in line for a Grand Re-opening!

Terrible experience. My wife and I went to Pier 98 tonight because we've been hearing how terrific their steaks are. I was shocked by the prices and I'm not paying $49 for a 16 oz ribeye. My wife ate the steak and said it was good. I had the roast beef po-boy, which was terrible. I didn't finish it. The check arrives and it's $116.68, as we'd had an appetizer and drinks, but then I notice a "$4.48 non cash adjustment". So they charged me $4.48 just to swipe my card, which only costs them about .30¢ in transaction fees...another $4.00+ in profit for them. I'll never return to this restaurant again.

Steph makes the perfect lemon drop martini. The burger was the best I've had in Hattiesburg - succulent beef, great chibata bun. Just need some real sliced tomato rather than romas. The coconut shrimp looked overcooked but weren't. The key lime pie was HUGE and must have come from heaven. Great cook. Just need to work on decor and lighting. This place should be packed!

A hidden gem. The Mississippi catfish tacos are fabulous as was the crawfish tacos. Do yourself a favor and get them dressed with the fried jalapeño. Yummy! Also, they have really good fries. The staff was super friendly and very attentive.

Pier 98 Steaks, Seafood & Catering hands down has the best food in town! The food is fresh, delicious and the portions are large. This is our go to place for family and visiting friends. Several of our guests have asked to go back the next night. Our favorites include the steaks, boiled seafood, pecan encrusted redfish and in-house made desserts! Be sure to check out their great happy hour and specials!

What a great local spot that serves up amazing food & atmosphere. I chose the Ahi Tuna appetizer, Mayor of Flavortown burger & shared the Shipley’s bread pudding …… AMAZING!!!
The food and service were great. I had the ahi tuna tacos, and the crawfish Mac and cheese. The prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is relaxed. I’ll be back. There is a small fee for using a credit card so I recommend paying cash.

Ordered 8 oz filet and the cut of meat was exceptional and I’m not the normal steak eater evidently b/c most places can’t or won’t cook my steak well done. I do this and add a topping like crawfish sauce or garlic/butter and enjoy it . The steak was cooked perfectly . My entire meal has made return visits a sure thing!

Long over date night - Pier 98 was recommended by friend - and we can't wait to be back! Even tho I'm still full and have fridge full of leftovers, still looking forward to our next visit!! This will be our only place in H'BURG to eat dinner! Locally owned and operated makes it even more worth supporting! We had crab stuffed ribeye, ahi tuna nachos, boom boom shrimp and lots more ... we're admittedly steak snobs - but this may be the best EVER!!! The nachos and shrimp would make you slap yo mama! The steak would make you hurt the neighborhood! Haha! Great prices ... great food ... amazing staff!!! Kitchen, bar, host, wait staff - all were amazing - as we all know a bad staff can make great food bad ... no fear of that here!!!! Recommend to friends, family, anyone!! Thanks for making our overdue date night amazing ... and then some!!!! We'll see you soon!!! Thanks Heather & staff!!(I can not believe some of the reviews I'm reading - if I could give 10 stars I would!
