3/5/2024 ordered and paid online. Get there's no confirmation had to go to car in storming rain get phone to prove order and payment. They then say 10-12 minutes. 15 minutes later I ask is food ready they say again a few minutes. 30 minutes have gone by. I ask for a refund. they inform me that due to it being a third party hired by them i would need to wait 24 hrs and they SHOULD contact me. I ask for a manager, Haleigh says in a very unprofessional tone that she is the manager. I asked for the owner she stated that he will decline speaking w/ me. I asked so I'm supposed to just leave and take your word that I'll be refunded or called by a third party in 24-48 hrs? DO NOT GO HERE

This is the only place I go to when I want a seafood bag. I've tried seafood bags from various different places and none compare to sakes. The shrimp,corn,sausage, and potatoes are favorable and well season.

This used to be my favorite spot to bring my wife and now I can’t even get a refill nor service that is worth such. Food is always amazing and this restaurant doesn’t seem to either pay staff enough because they apparently think one server on the floor EVERY time I come here is acceptable.Ruins customer experience.Takes 25min to get a refill.

From the expansive menu to the food quality, this was a great experience. I did not know that they had a full boiled seafood menu as well. The service was fast and the overall experience surpassed my expectations. I had the yakasoba and it was excellent. The sushi was equal to the other local restaurants in this area. We will definitely be going back here in the future.

I take my mom here every time I'm back in Mississippi for lunch- and have been doing this for over 10 years now. It is- without a doubt- one of the best places in Hattiesburg in terms of food and service. Such an easy going atmosphere and food is always, always good. We've never had any issues.Service is amazing. Usually the same faces. Always nice and checks on us often.Prices are reasonable. They've gone up a few over the years but nothing crazy like many other places in Hattiesburg.Our regular is always a Shrimp Tempura Bento Box with the lunch special but we've had the drink specials, fried tofu, and a few of the sushis. Everything is delicious, fresh, and there's never any error each visit. It is my rock in Hattiesburg.Big thank you to Sake Cafe.

The food is always really good. The service sometimes is hit or miss. Lots of turnover with staff so hard to get consistency. Not the friendliest staff either.

I paid $56 for a seafood bag. Got home and was missing the sausage I added. Checked my receipt and confirmed I was charged for it. Called the restaurant and spoke to the hostess and manager on duty who stated that I had to bring the food back in order for them to do anything. I asked would they be giving me a fresh order if I come back since I live 15 minutes away and the rest of my food would be cold. The manager said, per the owner who was not in, that could not be done. This is a stupid policy and poor customer service for a mistake on the restaurants behalf. If I have to be inconvenienced and waste gas to come back for something they did wrong, a fresh order is the least they could do. I was a faithful customer, but I will not be returning. This is not how you right your wrongs.

I would NEVER come back to this restaurant. Server was RUDE and slow! Did not help when we spilled our drink and looked thoroughly annoyed at the fact that we asked for napkins to clean up the mess. My son had to ask the server to for a towel to clean up the mess. Do better Sake Café! The servers and hostess was just standing off in the corner chit chatting, and it took forever for her to even take our drink order as well as food order!The food tasted terrible, and half of it was inedible. The sauce on the salads were repulsive, and the soups were too salty to eat.We were also charged dinner prices during lunchtime.You need better servers who don't have attitudes ?

They were over the top accommodating. My daughter didn't realize what hand rolled vs rolled was. But they fixed it no charge even tho I offered to pay for new order. Everything about the place from food to people is top notch!!
