went her on Sunday at 2 , waded in line for 30 minutes behind only 1 other car. ordered chocolat shake since that all I can eat and got vanilla . how you gon screw up that bad , steak n shak need to pay they people rite or else they go outta buisness people here is hungry and need be feed!! next time i just go to subway or sumin

I went on a friday night at 9 (they close at 10 according to their website) and they were closed!! Get your act together Steak 'n shake, but I ended up going to Ed's burger place which was WAYYY better than Steak 'n shake would have been!!

Closed at 6pm on a Tuesday, called the number on their door and couldn't even leave a voicemail on their bootleg a** voicemail. A message to Steak 'n shake corporate, if you can't pay your employees enough to keep a business open, close the damn business down! Clearly you're struggling and with stuff like this I can see why.

Went when they first opened but it was so bad we haven't been back until I decided to use drive thru today. It was 3:15, not busy at all, but it took 10-15min to get through. There was only one car ahead of me, we both had to wait forever for the person to take our order. Terrible service, the greasiest burger I've ever had. Never again.

Usually I’m one to write great reviews as I’m in the service industry myself. When I walked in, there were about 4 other tables in the restaurant with people at them. It took over a half an hour to get one burger and one tender meal. Honestly just read the rest of the reviews, they’re spot on

After reading all the reviews I was nervous to stop here. I was headed back to New Orleans yesterday and figured what's the worst that could happen? Sure enough the line inside and out were just ridiculous. People in front and behind me in line were leaving due to it taking so long, people sitting at the tables and booths were waiting on their food and getting impatient. I finally got to the clerk and she seemed so overwhelmed. Placed my order, got my drink, and was told my shake would be out in a minute. A 40 minute wait after placing my order, I got my burger and fries. I didn't get my shake at this point and had to remind the lady. I got the shake maybe 2 minutes after she dropped off my food. Now this is the part I was worried about, eating the food. A lot can get messed up, especially when they are busy and wait times are so long. Burger was juicy and buns weren't soggy, fries were crisp and I was very happy! The wait to place the order was about 20 minutes, wait for the food 40. I had no where to be in a rush so it was not a problem for me. Everyone had a job and was doing it. I think they're just short staffed for the site. If you're looking for "fast" food save your time, but if you just crave Steak 'n Shake and have time go for it!
This spot is near my house, and I like to come here sometimes to get a quick & cheap meal. Literally two of my meals only costed $10. Of course, you get what you pay for. It's not the best burgers around or anything, but it's convenient & affordable for those types of days. Their fries are a hit-or-miss too. Some days they're terrible and some days they're "fresh." I do like that their burgers are smaller (compared to McDonalds & BK) and doesn't make you grossly full. Their chili is pretty decent, but the best thing on their menu is their milkshake!

I've eaten at several Steak n' Shakes....by far the worst. The frank with chili and cheese was kid size. The chili was rewarmed and the frank had a burnt taste. My mom's burger had two bottoms buns. I decided to try a burger. The mayo was literally dripping from the burger. When I told the manager about the two bottoms buns, he replied, "Sorry." He didn't think the burger needed to be remade. There was one really friendly worker. All other workers had poor attitudes. The quality of food matched their attitudes. Beyond disappointed....

Don't eat here, and definitely don't use their app. The food has become substandard and they didn't give us our order or our money back today. The manager there said that he couldn't do anything about it. Their food has gotten worse, also. Cold fries, cold hamburgers, and things missing. Save your money and go to some place better, like McDonald's.
