We were evacuating from Hurricane Ida when we came across Texas Pitmaster BBQ. We took a break from the road to eat. We really enjoyed our meals! The BBQ sauce was delicious. The service was fast and friendly as well. Handicap accessible.

Stopped for gas and potty break, stayed for supper; so glad we did. Barbecue was excellent and the sides,,smoked corn, potato salad, and smoked corn were homemade and they hit it out of the park!

My daughter worked for them and just because she was having problems with transportation Ms Kim decides to not pay her the $10 an hour that she said she was gonna make and my daughter has a 2 year old son she is taking care of...I would not recommend this place for any kind of services...my opinion the food sucks...and if this they treat their employees well my bad only my daughter because the other employees get treated well so my opinion may not matter to anybody but I just wanted to put this out there because it's not fair ...my daughter worked very hard and was there for her shifts and still got treated this way ..so no I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

The service is friendly and fast, the brisket sandwich was delicious, the slice of cake huge and delicious. I'll be stopping there every trip to the gulf from Tennessee and on the way back.

Nothing was good at this barbeque pit. Nothing tasted good. Barbeque sauce yuck, Cole slaw yuck, only reason I went to give it a try. Last time to. Go to dickies or moes original barbeque. Dobbs barbeque in Dothan is great too.

my daughter and i fav pastime is lunch together her friend referred us omg the best bbq ribs the best baked beans the best loaded potatoe casserole and no joke the best health cookie the attendants were friendly and helped explain the difference in plates yum yum yum i am obsessed

Worst treatment ever. We called and were told that they closed at 7 pm. We showed up from 3 countries and was told we had to eat outside cause they were closing. It was 5:45 pm...... Food was cold and nasty. Never will return to any Texas Pitmaster bbq. I would leave zero stars of it were possible....

It’s 2021. There should be no fees on using plastic in person. A 7.00 sausage dog. Never again. BBQ is not that expensive. Not sausage. Price points are definitely off for gas station bbq even in a recovering pandemic economy. Not the best BBq I’ve had. Do better. Disappointed consumer.
