Five star should be reserved for 5Star places, and this place deserves every bit of it. Old school home town atmosphere, original menu. Only breakfast and lunch. Great service. Outstanding.

Good sized place, and it's a great location, however.Initially told twenty minute wait. Thirty minutes later, we walked in to at least ten empty tables, some needing to be cleaned but from for 2.immediately, a server walked up saying they must've got the wrong number. Just then, the greeter picked up the I pad. They took info at the door with before and we miraculously received our second text saying our seat was ready. So they did have our number.Not a great first impression but OK things happen. While i ate, I sat and watched the greeter visit with different friends who appeared to be there just to see him specifically.My deep fried country steak was Luke warm, my mashed potatoes were just above refrigerator temp and I had to chase the waitress down twice for drink refills and again for my bill.It'll be a long time before I go back to this place.

Very nice little diner. The food was great, although half our order arrived much later than the first half. There was a long wait that pushed us outside of the breakfast cutoff so I didn’t get the dish I was longing for, but the backup was delicious. Would eat here again for sure.

The absolute BEST breakfast we've ever had at a restaurant. Everything was phenomenal and could not have asked for better, even the service was fantastic. We will definitely be sure to come back when we are in the area!

The food is good, but not necessarily something to write home about. The wait is longer than most and probably not really worth it for a diner. The issue is the service.First the good: food generally comes quick, it's hot, the portion size is ok(not good but ok), and the staff is friendly.Now....the not so good, the service isn't great. One cup of coffee with no refill, not checked on by wait staff during the meal. Just sort of so so service for a place with a 45 minute wait.For the record I'd still support this RSJ establishment but it needs a bit of work.
