I'm staying in Hattiesburg for about a month and have eaten here a few times. Everything I've had has been great. Their biscuits (they serve breakfast until 2!) taste homemade. Also, the chicken tenders, fried cheese triangles and Mississippi Melt burger on sourdough are delicious.

The workers look like they just got out of bed, didn't brush their teeth nor comb their hair. The breakfast is horrible. How does pancakes taste like vinegar. Save your money.

Today it took them 30 mins to give me an order of plain biscuits for takeout, and this is not the first time this happens. I thought it was because they were making them from scratch, but upon receiving them, the biscuits were not even lukewarm. Service quality in this location has been sadly decreasing lately.

My family and I were recommended to try this location out. We went during "breakfast" and ended up ordering off their lunch menu (burgers and apps.) My son ordered off their breakfast menu (getting a chicken biscuit.) Their food is made to order and it took us at least 20 mins to get our burgers. It took 30 mins to get my son's chicken biscuit and that was on their breakfast menu. The dining room stayed dirty. I had to bus our table so we can sit down to eat. The food was ok. I was expecting the food to be hot since we waited for ever and it came out lukewarm. I would revisit if I wasn't on a time constraint.

We decided to finally stop and try Tophers after passing it several times. The food was as hot and good, except they got my order wrong and failed to have all of our food ready (fried pickles were not brought out with our order and we were almost done with our meal before they were ready). The kitchen staff was extremely loud and cursed quite a few times. Their conversations were quite upsetting as I sat there with my family. I MIGHT go through the drive thru at some point in the future, but I will not bring my family back to dine in.

I wanna give this place 5 stars so bad and I want to LOVE it. But I just can't :( The employees are nice but everytime I come something is forgotten. The food is good but not for the price. Small portions for big prices. If the price came down to match the food I'd be totally cool with it and give it 5 big ones. But alas it's not gunna happen.
