Tried them for a large takeout order. Food was ready upon my arrival and neatly packaged and labeled for each person. Staff was very friendly, and I even met "Uncle Al'. The shrimp and catfish po boys were very good. EVERYONE was very pleased with their order. The batter and seasonings on the seafood is a perfect spice blend that gives you that southern spark when it touches your tastebuds. I will definitely be back.

Fast and freshly fried poboy. Almost burned my mouth. The fish was well seasoned and had some crunch to it. The lady who took my order was super nice. I was unsure if I wanted the remoulade since I was not sure what it was. She was able to pick up on that and said "I'll just put some in the side for you". I loved the sauce and the tarter sauce was good too. I got the fries on the side. Those were also seasoned but I dipped them in the remoulade. I got the sandwich and the fries, no drink. With the tip included I paid just under $25.

We gave Uncle Al's and try and what a great place! The Cajun Roast Beef Po-Boy was incredible! Service was wonderful and we got to visit with Al who is a great guy and made sure we had a great experience. We will be back!

My wife and I tried this place tonight for dinner tonight. The customer service is awesome. That whole atmosphere is very nice. Everything was clean and organized. We ordered our food to go, we only live not even ten minutes away, and our food was not stone cold but definitely wasn't warm. We both got poyboys, both half shrimp and half catfish. The food was good but was not New Orleans style. The catfish wasn't cooked long enough. It was fully cooked just to soft and fell apart. The shrimp with what little shrimp was on the sandwich was good, but for the price of the food, I feel like we should have gotten more. We got two sandwiches and French fries, and our total was almost 50 bucks. It's definitely a little too expensive if you ask me. I'd be willing to go back and try something different, but I don't ill get the poyboys again.

This is an honest review. The place was very clean and organized.Ordered a whole roast beef poboy for me and my husband.It came to the table with the fries and both were not hot. I brought everything back and a gentleman I’m assuming was the owner but didn’t ask (maybe the manager) was very apologetic and had them remake everything.Didn’t wait too long and it all came out hot and fresh and he even brought us a box of beignets on the house.The poboy was okay to me flavor wise. Don’t feel it was authentic but was still a good sandwich! My husband absolutely loved it.We are from Tennessee and stopped here on our way back home from New Orleans and where I didn’t think it was a New Orleans poboy, it was still good and I would go back based on the service, quality and cleanliness of the shop!Thanks Al

Never have been on this side of hattiesburg but when we pulled into the parking lot it seemed to be so packed and we had to try it. Greeted by the Albert himself, very nice guy and the service was incredibly fast. I got the cajun roast beef poboy with the chicken and sausage gumbo. The taste is AMAZING. would come back again. 12/10 it's even better because the environment feels so at home and i am from new orleans!
