Food was good, it was pricey for what you get, but we didn't have complaints about the taste. Wait staff was wonderful. The restaurant is cozy and comfortable. However, the overhead music is just AWFUL. It is a recording of a female lounge singer doing covers of classic 80s and 90s songs...and it is like nails on a chalkboard. They would be better to just play jazz or better yet, play the original songs and let us enjoy the music.

Went with family last Saturday for brunch/ lunch to celebrate a new job. Service was indifferent, never offered coffee refill or water refill. Shrimp and grits - shrimp were good, grits cold with golf ball lumps. Granddaughters French toast cold, biscuits with several other meals cold. My kids are too kind to complain when this was supposed to be a treat, so I did my own taste testing. Those that had it did say the bacon was good, and oldest grandson enjoyed his steak. Sure if I had thought of it Waffle House would have been better value and more enjoyed.

We will definitely be back!Parking: There were plenty of parking spots on the square out front. There is also a parking lot with plenty of parking across the street from the restaurant.

It was really good... Whenever I'm in Hernando again I will most definitely be back.
We tried this restaurant out today for my husband's birthday dinner and it pretty much sucked for $120. He said his steak was ok, baked potato was warm enough to melt the butter, it was edible. I ordered the crab cakes, steamed broccoli and garlic mashed potatoes. Crab cakes were greasy, mashed potatoes were cold, broccoli was so hard I could barely cut it with my fork so none of that was any good. We ordered spinach and artichoke dip as an appetizer and it was the best thing going there. Don't waste your money or time on this place, not good at all!

Hot garbage. Ordered Asian wraps-tasted awful. The pork was pull pork, like bbq, as opposed to the traditional ground pork usually found in Asian wraps. Which would’ve been just fine, but the flavor wasn’t good.Kids meal was a burnt burger and applesauce in lieu of “fruit”. When I asked ab the fruit option and why we received applesauce, I was told that was the only fruit available. I would’ve opted for fries had we known fruit=applesauce. We also were asked if we wanted the garden veggies on the burger and we said no. Toddler didn’t want to eat it when he saw his burger arrived with veggies but no biggie. Once we removed the LTP & my toddler took a bite, it was burned. I ordered steak and I ate most of it but honestly it wasn’t very good. Husband said his smothered chicken and potato were off tasting, but again he ate it. ?♀️ We ordered chicken tenders and fries for my son for a second time, and they were sweet and comped the other meal for him, so service was honestly great. Server was great and we appreciated them removing the other meal but we won’t be back. Grew up here and love visiting the “old Timbeaux’s” whenever we come in town but we won’t be back. It’s clear this place skimps on their supplier, cook or both and for the price, the bad quality of food isn’t worth it.

Filet was a bit past medium, but delicious. Would not do creamed spinach again, too much sauce for my taste and way too rich with nothing to cut that with other than a glass of dry red wine. Server / bartender great n personable (at the bar).
The food was absolutely amazing. And my server Canon was about great and attentive.
