Previous experiences have been okay, however food is below quality for the cost. After my visit today i will not be back. After waiting 40 min for my food what i got was wrong, and cold. Shrimp was burnt, wings were not the flavor ordered (got buffalo when ordered honey hot) and the burgers were cold. All this after they over charged me and had to issue a refund for the over charge.

This was my first time trying Captain JJ's and I was very underwhelmed by quality of food. I had the honey hot chicken wings with fries. My son had the fried fish which he said was greasy. The fries look amazing but were very very hard. The chicken lacked flavor. But the customer service was great. There are a few places to sit to wait for your food or eat your meal but not much else. Primarily a takeout spot.

WORST FOOD I EVEE HAD IN MY LIFE. A combo doesn’t even come with a drink and you’re paying $13+ for AIR cause the food was horrible. I could’ve ate my toe nails and been pleased.

The food was absolutely horrible, I wouldn't feed that to an animal it was so bad. THAT IS NOT REAL CATFISH. To top it off, the manager or owner IDK but he went behind the counter and started eating. I looked up and he staring in space chewing like a horse, so unprofessional. But the girl at the counter is very friendly.
Don't GO. Stuff is rude toward the employees and customers. Today, while waiting for my order. A customer asked how much longer will it take for her order to be ready, after placing her order 30 minutes ago. One of the workers told her she needs to go somewhere else after he charged her credit card. He was totally out of line, and disrespectful. The lady remained calm and tried to explain why she needed to know how long it would take before her order is ready. But the worker continued to scream at her. I decided to leave and I will never go back.

The wings are out of this world yummy .. I get mine extra crispy with honey gold so very good. Great price too .. 35 wings fries and 2 liter for $20 can't beat that these days

Food use to be good years ago. The Memphis locations are way better. I got the 35 party wings and family fries today. It was HORRIBLE. The wings were all over cooked, fried hard to the point of they weren't even chewable. The meat was hard and dried up then they poured the seasoning heavy on top when I didn't ask for extra seasoning. It made the food salty and the fries were over cooked as well. Service is always lackluster and there isn't any ambiance to mention. Save your money. You would be better going to a Dixie queen.
