Great atmosphere! Courteous and professional staff! Best bartenders around. And the filet and red fish are mouth watering! The presentation is aesthetically pleasing as well.

Beautiful atmosphere, with amazing food!! We started with the crab fondue and totally recommend it!! I ordered the redfish Anna and my husband got the 18oz ribeye. We were both very impressed and will definitely be back!!

We love going to Caet. I cannot recommend the Refish Anna enough! It's my favorite. If you get a chance to eat at Caet, take it!

Beautiful restaurant and delicious seafood. Discovered this gem while visiting my parents. The Gumbo was flavorful and the cornbread was an added bonus!! The crab claws were meaty and delicious. I will definitely be returning on the next trip home.

1st visit to CAET in the Renaissance. Great location, plenty of parking and the perfect ambiance. It was a beautiful day and great weather so we sat outside. Our server Austin was the best, very attentive, kind and patient. Funny too. Our meal overall was really good. We'll definitely come back.

Caet has the best seafood in the Jackson area! We love going here for date night and with friends.

I see all the high reviews, but struggled to even give an honest 3 stars. Buyer be aware, for the Money, CAET was DISAPPOINTING. Check in was snobby, prices VERY expensive, food ok but generally salty, waiter overloaded and Most disappointing by far was the jam 'em in approach and TERRIBLE seating. I dropped $240 for two people and was sitting at a tiny, tiny table LITERALLY 1.5 feet from our dinning Neighbors tiny tables on each side. I could hear their slightest every word. Lousy environment of the second rate sun room seating seems more appropriate for an Applebees with $2 PBR than $100 per plate dinner with my wife. It seems the most important mission for CAET is to see how many people they can pack in, upsell and get out. When they walked me to our airport bistro table,.. I was fully ready to walk out the front door, but for the sake of stressing out my wife. Haha, I guess it could have been worse, I went to the bathroom and they had these same tiny tiny tables stacked up in the hallway going to the bathroom, literally 6 feet from the toilets. For real.., at least they had nice little candles, hopefully scented. Well, this is Ridgeland Mississippi, not Manhattan, New York. Good luck....

Y'all, all jokes aside I had the most disappointing/dissatisfying/enraging/ugly customer service experience here. On February 4th, 2022, I came here because we had a dinner reservation at 8pm for a party of 8. 2 of our members were running late so we could not be seated (100% understandable) 10 minutes pass than 20, so we ask if we can be seated with our party of 6 which long story short turns into an entire hour of waiting after we were told this was fine and adjustments were made. After numerous check ins with the host/manager we were finally seated, but we were not happily seated. There was a clear aura of annoyance from the manager, (maybe because our party was big, maybe because it was late?) I have no idea why she was projecting this strong energy but the party was trying to maintain patience. The manager finally seats us at a table of 8, we wanted to be courteous to remind her it was only 6 of us but that took a turn. She inappropriately started snatching menus off of the table and making remarks under her breath passively implying we had to pay for the two people who weren't in attendance. We were all confused. I could tell her behavior not only embarrassed our table but disturbed more than just our party. We asked for her name and she refused to give it to us. This caused further embarrassment and threw off the entire mood for dinner which was not enjoyable at all due to her behavior. This is unacceptable treatment and I am sad my visit here was severely below average.

Pricey but very worth it. The cocktails are very interesting and generous if you know what I mean. I had the Rockefeller oysters, the truffle fries and Jackson hot cat fish, and my company order the lobster roll. All were amazing, especially the Jackson hot catfish. I truly have never had anything like it, it's definitely an upgrade from a standard Nashville hot chicken dish.

Had a lovely evening & an excellent server. I just had to comment that the lobster rolls were shocking to see when they came out. They were on a Hawaiian type style roll like you make sliders out of. Had they been called lobster sliders I would have expected this. So suggesting a name change. The server said customers say this all the time! So strange! They were very good just not that I'd expect ordering a lobster roll. I had the Redfish Anna & my husband had a steak, both were great. For dessert we had key lime pie & tres leches very yummy!

(Sigh) - hate to report that this one fell short for me, yall! Pros: - Stunning decor with an upscale yet comfortable ambiance making it the perfect spot for date night, GNO, or even a meal with your parents - Expansive menu -- while it is heavy on the seafood, there is bound to be something on the menu for everyone's liking so don't let that deter you - Excellent wine list and cocktail selection. Our glasses of Nautilus (Sauvignon Blanc) were perfectly chilled. - Blondie dessert with ice cream: good, shareable portion - Depsite not having the best dining experience here, I do think the menu is appropriately priced. The not so great: - Service: Our server didn't disclose his name and overall, I felt rushed as if he were trying to get us out of the restaurant quickly, especially after we said we were just going to do a few appetizers. Perhaps we overstayed our welcome because our reservation had an end-time stamped on it for a total duration of one hour; we stayed 1.5 hours. - Small charcuterie board: I requested no bleu cheese which our server said they could accommodate and when I proceeded to tell him that I would love some goat cheese, if possible, he informed me that the boards were pre-made -- didn't love knowing that. The bountiful board featured a nice array of cheeses, jams, and meats but it featured no more than five tiny pieces of crostini! I requested additional crostini and was surprised to see that we were charged for it. - Pimento cheese toast: Paying homage to my southern roots and the fact that I could bathe in pimento cheese, I naturally had to get this. This dish came out cold and the warm bacon jam was overpowering. It made the toast so very soggy and just not very appetizing to look at or to eat. - BLT wedge salad: Requested the kitchen to split this salad which our server took note of but the salad, which was very large, arrived on a dinner plate, unassembled. It was cumbersome to split and assemble the salad ourselves especially on the tiny appetizer plates that were supplied. I'm not completely writing Caet off because I know it is a Jackson favorite but probably would not order the same things again and would encourage you to consider other menu items, as well!

I really enjoyed this seafood spot on my first visit, although some of my family's been coming here for years now. The ambience is classy but relaxed, pretty hip but also professional. We started off with a bevy of apps including the crispy lobster rolls, pimento cheese toast, and my personal favorite, the Jackson Hot Catfish (pictured). We also hounded some zucchini fries and fried crab claws. Our waiter was super friendly and made us feel at home. I had the Redfish Anna for my main which was also delicious. Go here fam.

Visited recently and was extremely dissatisfied with the food. We had charbroiled oysters that were incredibly dry and burnt and tasted like bread. My husband had "gumbo" that unfortunately tasted like tomato and okra soup. The drinks were amazing. Won't return anytime soon.

We went to eat at CAET on Friday, December 10th. There weren't any open tables, so we sat at the oyster bar. Our food and service were fantastic! We had salad, oysters, shrimp and grits and tuna a la plancha, and all of it was top notch. Our sever Makayla, was excellent and a joy to speak to. We will definitely be back.
