Salad literally only had 4 sliced cucumbers and 2 grape tomatoes sliced in half, for $11 for 98% lettuce. Not worth it at all. Didn't try anything else to base my review off of so obviously take my review with a grain of salt.

Four of us enjoyed our meals. The Quiche was excellent- the Jambalaya too tomatoeee. And the Cuban was the best for the Jackson area. The Bread Pudding was very very good!We went across the drive to their “kitchen” store and bought a frozen chicken pot pie.

I’ve been eating at Crazy Cat literally for longer than I can remember (back from when it was at its previous smaller location). Crazy Cat is a must go to in Jackson for lunch! The meatloaf sandwich is one of my favorites! The short rib sandwich is also tremendous. The quiche is also most excellent. The bread pudding is literally the best there is — period. The vibe is chill and relaxed. It’s the sort of place you’d want to go and catch up with your people.I went for brunch on Saturday today for the first time — was not disappointed! It’s a great place with great food!!

I was passing through town and decided this place looks like it’ll be good. And it was more than good. It was excellent! If you like Southern home cooking, then this is your place. After drooling over the delicious menu options, I finally decided on the Meatloaf Panini. If you like meatloaf, you’ll love their meatloaf. It was amazing. I was so happy with my meal, that I ordered dessert. I went with the bread pudding. It too was amazing. I can’t wait to pass through Jackson, MS again.

I was able to phone and the hostess Cathy was most gracious helping me book a table for my guests and confirming short pants and polo type shirts are perfect evening summer attire. She also mentioned they are BYOB so I was able to swing-by Briarwood Wine and Spirits, just around the corner, on my way in and grab a nice chilled Italian White for supper along with a 10% discount for mentioning Crazy Cat Eat Up. The menu was filled with wonderful fresh fish dishes from trout to redfish to catfish. I elected the pork porterhouse with a sweet potato purée and could not have been more pleased. Everyone at our table enjoyed their selection and generous portions prevailed. Service was prompt but not rushed. Desert cobbler was very good but we were all way too full to do it justice. Good prices and a very nice atmosphere all under the watchful eye of founder John Lansdale. Great evening experience! Highly recommend!

EVERYTHING! All 3 of us got different, perfectly cooked and artfully plated fish dishes and enjoyed a pan of cornbread and strawberry salad with feta and vinaigrette. Bread pudding was STUPENDOUS as was the Caramel Pie. Our server was attentive, helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to return at lunch with friends. Definitely going to become frequent diners and meet up with friends. Great price point for this establishment! A GREAT FIRST VISIT! 100/100

Fun place to meet friends and enjoy a great meal. Shrimp salad was excellent. Menu changes frequently, which is a bonus.

The service is amazing at Crazy Cat. If you haven't been for brunch yet, you need to!!! Delicious, and it is "brown bag" so you can grab a bottle of champagne next door and even get 10% off.

Preface: the food is INCREDIBLE!Our first thoughts upon our 1st experience is that the venue is drab and uninviting. The staff were accommodating tho. We had brunch, and while the menu was albeit limited for brunch, the food was spectacular!Inside the restaurant left a little to be desired. For a place called "Crazy Cat" it was rather a domesticated atmosphere. It was unusually slow for a rather great cuisine experience. I blame the drab decor and location, but the chef clearly knows his stuff.Note: they don't serve sweet tea, which for a restaurant in the heart of Jackson, Mississippi was a complete and total shock.Overall, the food is DEFINITELY worth the visit. Just don't expect any vibe whatsoever, becuase it doesn't exist.Food: 6/5, Staff: 3.75/5, Atmosphere: 1.5/5. Overall 3.75/5 heavily weighted by the absolutely delicious food.
