I came to Dumbos on Duling for a graduation dinner and quite enjoyed the experience. They have lots of unique cocktails on the menu that myself and my group enjoyed, some unique appetizers and dips that were really tasty, and good entrees or steaks to pick from. I got the red fish, which I really enjoyed and thought the sides were also pretty good. I would come here again if in the Jackson area.

Delicious, great service! Jaylen was our server. He was attentive and friendly. Even did a lil dance! Loved it!

the food was great but the service was poor. Tiffany was not very nice and was vaping in the dining area.

Super salty. Imitation bacon on the deviled eggs. I told the staff the food was salty, they just brought me more water. My boyfriend hadn’t eaten all day from being at work, so we stopped in to relax and have a meal. He didn’t even finish half his food. I didn’t either. This was really the worst meal I’ve had at a restaurant. We ordered the wontons, deviled eggs, shrimp pasta, and korean fried chicken sandwich. This is the only place in Fondren that I’ve not been in, but I can say this experience made me question all the restaurants in this area to see a place be so subpar and not feel it has any competition.

Salty deviled eggs with imitation bacon. Salty shrimp pesto pasta that had some good ingredients but it was overpowered with salt. Portion was terrible for the price. Salty Korean Fried chicken sandwich and salty fries. I wanted a night without having to cook. Ended up having to cook anyway because we could not finish our meal. It's not worth it. They also pick and choose who they want to add gratuity on. Our ticket had gratuity added for two people. There was a party of four outside we talked to who said they didn't have it added to theirs! They add it if you complain about the food so they don't lose the tip. I'd hate to say the reason they added it was because of the other difference between my party and theirs... *eye roll*

Go look at their Facebook page. Every other post is a "we are hiring" plea. Management is terrible. The food is even worse. But what's most interesting is that when this place first opened, a manager sexually assaulted a female staff member in the walk-in freezer. Word got out and the place had to shut down for a week because all the staff walked out. Sounds too scandalous to be true? Ask anyone. This place is truly an organizational nightmare. But what's now gotten everyone's attention is this place telling nurses that they can't come when they wear scrubs. Besides being devoid of all logic, not everyone who wears scrubs works in a hospital. Or even near patients. This place is beyond stupid. While y'all are too busy acting like dictators and sexual perverts, focus on your business staying afloat. Putting a little more seasoning on your dry, bland food wouldn't hurt either.

The experience was good. I was kind of hoping for better since I've seen the reviews so high . The crawfish wonton and korean wings were great . And the drinks were great as well . The dumbos chicken sandwich now so much . And the server moved slow . She checked on us but never removed any dishes or cups when we finished . But besides that I would probably say it's for a social drinks vibes .

My boyfriend and I ate at Dumbos on Duling this past Sunday. I must say that I absolutely loved the decor in this establishment. I also lovveddd the fried chicken. It was crispy, golden, and seasoned to perfection! The greens and cornbread were also amazing. The macaroni and cheese was cheesy but a little rich. My boyfriend also loved the chicken and biscuit with gravy as well as the potatoes!!! The mimosas were also on point in regards to taste! Overall, the experience was pretty good especially since we as well as others experienced an unforeseen issue which was handled professionally by the staff.

Food and atmosphere were decent. Waitstaff did a good job. BEWARE THAT YOU WILL BE CHARGED A 20% gratuity on your bill without your knowledge or consent. Although this information is stated on the menu, it is in the small print at the bottom of the menu. I feel this a shady and unethical practice. Gratuity is not a given. It is strictly up to the patron if and how much tip is left. The restaurant doesn’t get to decide that. For this reason I will not go back and will steer all of my friends and family away from Dumbo’s

I’ve been to Dumbo’s for lunch several times now. I’ve even recommended it to friends. However, after my experience on yesterday, I don’t think I’ll be going back anytime soon (if ever). The food was decent, but the service felt unwelcoming to say the least. First of all, my coworker and I wanted to sit at a different table, but the person seating us acted like we asked him to build tables and chairs from scratch. He didn’t have to be rude or condescending to communicate why he wanted to seat us at a certain table. Plus, I believe he still sat someone right where we wanted to sit! The waitress then added gratuity to our checks. This usually only happens when there is a party of 6 or more. We were a party of 2! AND usually a restaurant is up front about gratuity charges but to just add it to your ticket and not say anything is not cool. I actually was originally going tip a larger amount but since it was already added with no explanation - I didn’t. It was just a very weird vibe. I didn’t appreciate it as a frequent customer who works close by. I definitely won’t be recommending it to friends. Quite the opposite.

Went for happy hour and didn't turn out so happy. Doesn't look like much when you walk past or drive past. Came through the back accidentally, came in and wasn't greeted . Got sat, but had to wait another 5-10 minutes only for the bartender to come her ratchet gossiping self from behind the bar to take our order and I told her we were going to wait until happy hour to order drinks and she forgot about us only because she was getting ready to get off. Whoever came in and relieved her was also a rude little brat. And a sassy smart a*** Had the nerve to ID us after 45 minutes of waited and I ordered the fried chicken but the chicken was fried so hard that you could break your teeth. I sent it back and got the gumbo which was decent. Drink was aight, kinda weak. Horrible and will never be back.

we went to dumbos last night. ( I've been several several times before) but last night was disappointing.. first I noticed they changed the menu..they took their signature dish..fried ckn sandwich off the night menu.. so I ordered the Brussels sprouts dish..which are amazing.. and gumbo...I got the sprouts and very small portions for 9 bucks...and the gumbo was mostly liquid .little rice and no ckn..2 or 3 shrimp... my friend got a salad with friend ckn..came out on a small plate for 18 bucks.. their burger and fries were 19 bucks. we probably wont be back.

I like everything I've tried from their menu. Service was very good. They also have great cash saving promotions.

Come for the $3 old fashioned. Stay for Jordan. Best bartender in town.
