I stumbled upon this awesome restaurant during my visit to Jackson, Mississippi. I ordered the red fish tacos and they were delicious and seasoned to perfection! The customer service is outstanding and the orders are prepared very quickly. Additionally, the cost of the food is very reasonable! We were staying across the street at the Homewood Suites Hilton hotel and enjoyed the food so much that we went back two nights in a row for dinner! That in itself speaks volumes! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Jackson, Mississippi!

Came in on a Friday for Happy hour when all their tacos are $2. After having several of them it was no surprise as to why only several people were there. The tacos are bland even with all the sauces they put on it. I chocked on the Barbacoa it was so dry and had no juice. The only true deal is their Margarita special. The fried shrimp taco was deep fried in a thick, terrible batter that wasn't seasoned at all. You are better off making tacos from a taco kit at home.

Let me say...I have never had a bad experience here. Today, very different story. Walked in and was greeted promptly. The young lady helping us was nice, didn't know much about alcoholic options but that can be overlooked. Ordered our food and we received our dips quick. That was as far as quick went. We ordered a total of 6 tacos. That's all...six tacos. 30 mins later we noticed tables that came in well after us and ordered about 10 mins prior getting their food. I asked the waitress if she could check on our food and said said "it's coming now". She then precedes to bring us another tables order who literally was only sitting there 10 mins. I tell her that's not our food and she takes it back. After about 10 mins I finally just ask for the check. You'd think it would be straight forward from there...again...no. Took another length of time to receive the check of which to my surprise had everything we had ordered on it minus the tacos. Ok, I'll pay for the dips and drink but seriously...you are going to charge me for the cheese dip and piss poor guac after waiting almost an hour for my food? Ok. So I asked to speak with the manager to which he told me " ya your order was put in 31 mins ago and it's still not ready" (which tells me it was 15 mins late being put in but ok). I tell him that as a manager it's his job to make it right and he just nods..that's it, says yea and nods. Tells me that he can't take off any items because I ate them and he can't take off alcohol because it's a law. Lie.. not a law...but ok. I ask for a to-go container for my dips...never happened. I gave my card to pay and it took another 10 mins. Seriously...what is going on here. I will note the manager said "when you come back look for me and I'll get your tacos". How about you get them now!? Why do you think I'll come back here? This used to be my fave place to eat but you have seriously lost a customer over $25. Didn't make it right and sucked at customer service. I can look past kitchen issues and short staffing but this was absolutely ridiculous.

I've been wanting to try Green Ghost for their fresh fruit margaritas. I ordered the blueberry margarita and it was delicious. The fresh fruit purée was the perfect addition to make the margarita refreshing. For my entree I ordered the birria tacos, two beef and one chicken. The tacos are were okay. They had enough cheese but the consome and tacos lacked flavor. However the black beans and rice had a great flavor. It is cute Mexican restaurant and I loved the inside vibe.

Business went up and quality went down terribly. Ordered 2 chicken nachos. Chips were so soggy and there was no queso anywhere on the plate. Yeah definitely ruined dinner on this marvelous 2sday! & you can’t even call up there because they NEVER answer the phone. So don’t bother using curbside

The food was absolutely delicious. The menu had many tasty options and the prices are right. The guy behind the bar that was running the place was friendly and had many balls to juggle at once with a post marathon crowd. Our Server was efficient but more suited for a role of a Drill Sergeant than someone dealing with the public. The place was crazy busy and she had a tough job, but scowling at the kids or anybody that slighted messed up her plan was a bit over the top. It is nice to be efficient but do so with a smile. This young lady just looked miserable which gives off a bad vibe. All in all, Green Ghost was a great find and I am glad we gave it a shot.

I decided to order some Baja-style tacos for lunch. I remember when GGT first opened on County Line and when it was the only place I could get my CA-style Mexican food fix, other than cooking it myself. So I ordered the two fish taco plate and even added an extra taco to match. I paid extra for the avocado, extra for the pickled onions, and made sure to ask for no cilantro and green salsa on the side. After waiting almost an hour, this is what I got. Oxidized avocado, cilantro twigs, one wedge of lime, no salsa, or pickled onion. To be honest, they should pay me for having to wait so long for this garbage. I can look past the beans and rice all mixed on top of each other, I can even look past no silverware or napkins. But DUDE, I am paying 3.00 USD for a taco and you can't even give me what I ordered?!? No bueno, guys... Now after more than an hour, I guess I have to go out and risk getting shot as I go to Cook Out or Taco Bell... #epicfail

This place is a must try in the Fondren area! Their margaritas were Devine! The redfish tacos were perfect! The sauce on top complimented the other ingredients well. I had three of them versus two and it was just enough for me! The service was great! Our server was attentive and sweet!

One of the best spots to get tex mex in all of jackson, in my opinion. So good, literally every time I come, with an expansive menu and great prices. Whether it's a cemita, their delicious tacos, a burrito, or enchiladas you cannot go wrong. They also have a fantastic spread of margaritas and beers to wash it all down with. Go here fam.
Ordered 2 pork tortas which the menu says are $11 each. Received my bill and noticed that I had been charged $2 extra for each torta. I asked the server about this who asked the manager who stated that it was due to an increase in pork prices. I understand this completely, but it was not indicated on the menu. If I had known this before hand, I would have ordered the chicken torta. No apology or correction was offered despite the fact that the menu advertised $11. What is the purpose of advertising menu prices if the restaurant can charge whatever they want without notifying the customer beforehand? If I eat here again, I will now feel the need to confirm the menu prices before ordering which will make me look crazy and embarrass my wife.
