Millsaps is a small, Methodist college in Jackson, Mississippi. It is confidently located near some establishments worthy of your time (Library Lounge at The Fairview Inn is exceptional), however, be warned: Do not walk without a friend and perhaps a pugnacious Pit Bull. The dorm named John is a four story building. Laundry on the basement floor. A kitchenette and Lounge is on the 1st. No matter what floor you are on, you cannot control the AC. It is humid and damp. My favorite aspect of the campus is the feral cat population. We named one Seamus, and he lounged with us on the porch each sunset.

As an alumnus of Millsaps, and also an alumnus of the Univ. of Virginia, UC Berkeley, and of Oxford University, I find the review of "Elizabeth S" to be a childish screed by someone who hasn't seen much of the world. My Millsaps education was equal in quality to all the others I attended. Yes, college dorms are seldom clean and attractive; college students make them so. Those at Millsaps are neither better nor worse than others. The reference to particular kinds of stains is silly-- did you have them tested? Maybe you tasted them? If not, how do you know their origins? This is exactly the kind of yahoo a college like Millsaps doesn't need. So glad there's no chance you'd try to enroll there.
