THIS PLACE WAS GOOD UNTIL THEY MOVE TO ANOTHER LOCATION AND BECOME BOUGIE. THE PLACE IS ALWAYS OPEN BUT THE DOOR STAYS LOCKED. THE OWNER AND HIS WORKS SEE YOU AT THE DOOR AND JUST LOOK AT YOU. GET YOUR OPEN TIMES RIGHT AND PUT IT ON THE DOOR.

Our experience was very poor. We waited on our food for an hour, while the managers was very loud and playing uno. When waitresses need their help they just ignore them. I had to tell them, I needed my receipt. They have poor management skills. I will never comes as long as they are there. They wasn't helping or greeting the customers to make sure everything was ok, we didn't even get our second order .

Absolutely terrible!!!! I would recommend it to my dog! Worse service possible! No waitresses acknowledged us for two hours!!! Why be open and miss out on money?!?

Service horrible! Only 11 people in place and no drink for 30 minutes. Then the green apple didn’t work. Peach on menu no longer available. We ordered wings and fries because other stuff on menu they said they were serving only those items. The white female that was working kept going out by door on phone smoking cigarettes! I’ve been seeing this place on Facebook for months and will definitely not go back. The other servers look at you instead of saying how can I help you when I decided to pay and go because we never got wings hour later and I’m not kidding. We went last night at 10:00pm 2/15/2020.

As of February 6, 2020 their liquor license is suspended. They might as well just change their name to bar & bistro. I've gone twice and the service had been mediocre but I just want to support black businesses...but this is just ghetto

This was my first time coming to this bar and will be my last time coming. This place is for the birds. The worst customer service, no doubt. Whoever is the owner or manager of this establishment, you staff is going to run this business to the ground.

I've been here a few times, and they were ok, but this time they were for the most part "lack luster" my fiancé and I came during the day around 2pm. They were out of EVERYTHING, and so we decided to get chicken strips, and substituted the food they didn't have for a catfish po boy. Well when my food came out they gave me some dry chicken strips with no sauce. I asked for just a side of buffalo sauce, because I'm not hard to please. When we got the check they had charged us for two drinks, and not 2 for one, they gave us our 11 dollars back, but, we still were shorted 2 dollars. Worst experience I have ever had there. The drinks were good. Just get drinks NOT FOOD.
One of the worst places in Jackson with the worst management. The assistant manager was very unprofessional and the owner ignored all of our complaints. Our time at this establishment was spent with the assistant manager who clearly had no clue what he was doing. He started off by attempting to take our order and after I told him we wanted the catfish plate, he then suggested something called the Sunday special that he said came with 8 pieces of catfish, fries and toast for $5. After he took our order he had a personal altercation with another person and forgot to put our food in. We got his attention and asked about our food and he told us he just had a bad situation and he forgot. He then proceeded to ask us what we wanted again 4 times after he had already wrote our order down. So he finally put our other in and asked if we wanted to go ahead and pay for our food and drinks. Me not thinking I payed and we continued to wait. 30 mins later still no food and so we asked again what was going on, he assured us it would be up soon. About 10-15 later we got our food and noticed we only had two pieces of catfish. So we asked why we only had 2 pieces after he told us it came with 8. He then began to tell us that he after talking to the other manger he had it wrong and he falsely advertised us, and that he didn’t make us order the special, he just suggested it. After telling him we only order the special because he suggested it he leaves the restaurant. So we ask for the other manager and she never came.

This was my second time here my first time was great,but this time I went the person there could not make mix drinks, he said the person that do it will be right back, so I waited more than 30mins. I ended up leaving because I had waited long enough.

The food, music, drinks and customer service are all the reasons I enjoy The Skybox. The food is worth the reasonable price as well as the drinks I suggest the drink called EVERYTHING it's delicious and the wings are fresh, mouthwatering with just the right amount of sauce. The staff are friendly, inviting, suggestive, warm humble people. I've been there a few times since I found it and I'm glad my cousins and I went and I'm going back!
