The seafood market surpassed my expectations. The food was pretty good. I don't know why I ordered an 11 inch poboy because that's pretty big but I almost ate all of it. The shrimp were good and it came with a good bit of them. My lovely husband got the catfish platter and he loved it. I tried it and it tasted fresh. The lady that took our order was very nice and made sure our drinks were refilled. The place is small so if there are a lot of people you might have to take it to go but they had a cool little condiment place where you could get tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, ketchup, which I thought was nice so you don't have to keep asking the server for some. This is the perfect place for a good comfort seafood meal. I will be back to tried the boiled shrimp!

Ordered a red snapper Po boy and the fish was Brown when I returned the Sandwich for a refund. I was told that that is the color of the fish once it is cook. I eat red snapper all the time and I do know that fish when cooked should be white and flaky and not Brown. This is the second time this happened and I will not be back. Seafood is not fresh

The BEST crawfish in Laurel, hands down! Everywhere is is either dry or not flavorful. Mais crawfish has that distinct taste that I just love and always have me coming back for more!
Always a good meal at Mai Seafood Market. Whether it be Shrimp Fried Rice, Seafood Gumbo, Crawfish, Shrimp Po Boys, or Frog Legs... Never had a bad meal at Mai's.

My mother in law bought me some sandtruot but was soooo good. The catfish looked good too. You get a lot for a pound or two of cut up catfish. My next try is catfish filet.
