Uhm so the food service was good but there was a stray cat outside that one worker was talking about how it was cute and small but she couldn't take care of it! It made me really sad for the rest of the day but it's fine because I ended up taking the cat home with me and his new name is Gregory! I got him vaccinated and everything! I'm so happy that this place showed me my new little fur baby!

We go every Sunday after church! Best food in Clarke County! Good southern cooking and plenty of it! Staff is very friendly!

They are now serving breakfast again!! Just a nice old fashioned diner. Lunch Sunday thru Friday. Thursday nights is steak dinner night.

For a small town, not too bad. The veggies are indeed canned but most restaurants now do this however adding a little extra to it from the condiments on the table won't hurt you. I love a diner feel. This place has been so many different businesses since I've lived in Clarke county. The county workers need a place to stop in for a quick bite so this is convenient for them. My coworker loved the buttermilk pie, I had peach cobbler which was too sweet but the crust was nice.

Love the home-cooked food and friendly staff. Definitely stop if traveling through Mississippi. Great filling home-cooked food for under $10.00 including drink. Better than Pearl's Diner in Laurel Mississippi

Follow up from three years ago. Been back a few times in the last several months and it appears the evening hours have gone away. But the lunch was still great. As indicated by others, "classic meat and three" and no menu but big glass fronted case that lets you see the selections is better than any menu anyway. Various selections for meats and veg's, bread, drinks, deserts, etc. Last time in, had the pork chop, rice and gravy and collards and some of that may or may not have been out of a can but tasted great. Twelve bucks with desert and drink. I needed a nap after all that. Don't think twice.

Classic meat and three veg. No menu, and she may run out, so come early. We got here on a Sunday after the church crowd, so all that was left was fried chicken- which was just fine by us. All the veg comes from cans and boxes, but it tasted just fine. Corn casserole seemed fresh and was very good. Buttermilk pie and chocolate pie were also great. Fried chicken is perfect. I loved the jalapeño corn bread but no one else in the team did.

The Lima beans were out of this world.. we were on the way to New Orleans and this is a wonderful authentic restaurant with a great staff and a little antique shop to browse through...

The sign says VILLAGE MARKET but Norma Jean is inside and her food is delicious. This cafe is a great stop for lunch in Pachuta. Two minutes off 59 and we'll worth the detour!
