A very friendly and welcoming place to visit. I haven't tried any food items as of yet; however the ice cream and different treats are wonderful. Reasonably priced with good portions. I usually get the superman ice cream (yea, I'm a kid at heart) but ask for no yellow (only red and blue). They kindly do the best they can to keep yellow out. Great people, highly recommended.

The place was very nice, staff was friendly but I ordered a cotton candy shake. I guess the flavor is really popular because I noted that it was nearly out. The women behind the counter proceeded to take the container out and scrape down the sides of it. Well there were chunks (not small ones either) of ice in my watered down tasting cotton candy shake. Very disappointed. Probably won't go back. I'm on the fence about giving then another shot.

Went for the muffuletta. Definitely didn't disappoint. One of the best I've had in Southern MS. The price is better then New Orleans. They even you Leidenhiemer bread! That's definitely makes a huge difference.Had a waffle cone. Nothing special. A fresh cone would've been better.Small little shop.

Cute place! Lots of flavors of ice cream and topping to choose from. Milk shakes and food also! My little girl loves strawberry ice cream and sprinkles and approves of Ice Cream Palace!

I cannot tell you in words how good this place is. I used to drive to New Orleans or get friends going that way to stop and grab muffulettas from Central Grocery. The Ice Cream Palace and Cafe has one that is just as good, but it is five minutes down the street, costs less, and I get to support a business in my local community! Do yourself a favor and check it out.

I was contemplating coming to the coast to visit my daughter, when a picture of a ginormous mouth watering muffuletta sandwich graced my social media gulf coast foodie page. That sealed the deal for me to make the 547 mile drive down. I had to have one! I got into town late Monday night, Mardi Gras'd for Fat Tuesday, first chance I got on Wednesday-I walked through the door of this humble and quaint establishment. I did not let the large variety of ice cream deter me (even though I always advocate for dessert first) I had to get this sandwich. Greeted by Dan and his beautiful bride Tina, my muffuletta road trip dreams were fulfilled. I enjoyed the conversation and the coastal southern hospitality. Every inch and then some of the crusty bread is filled with meats, cheese, and the olive salad. It was cut into quarters, and I stuffed my face with the first one. So I'm really excited that I have plenty for another 2 meals. Worth the trip, worth every penny! Thanks for the meal and the experience. Next time I will save room for dessert!

Great little ice cream shop with an AMAZING hot deli counter! The most phenomenal Muffeletta I've ever tried! Warm and toasty, overstuffed with the perfect meats, cheese, and plenty of delicious olive salad!
