“This small roadside burger shop is so much more than a burger joint. They have several non-burgdr sandwiches, including an amazing BLFGT (bacon, lettuce, fried green tomato) sandwich! The generous portion of thick cut bacon was cooked to crispy perfection. The portion of the hand-cut fries (the included side I chose) was also very generous, and they were delicious. The seating is limited to 2 picnic tables with umbrellas and bar stools along a covered counter area. There were 10 of us the first time we dined at Chuck's, and everyone raved over their different sandwiches.”

“During the Hobbiton tour we stopped here for about 30 minutes after touring the movie set. Very good theming and they offered 3 alcoholic drink choices and 1 non-alcoholic. They had a dark beer, amber ale, hard cider and a non alcoholic ginger beer. We tried the hard cider and ginger beer and enjoyed both. They sell a variety of tempting snacks including scones, cookies, muffins and pies but we saved ourselves for Shire's Rest Cafe. They have a picture opportunity where you can put on some aprons, hats and a vest. This is also the only point in the Hobbiton set area where you can use the bathroom. The facilities are quite maintained and it is themed very well. If you book the evening tour you can have dinner here but it is an included stop in any of the tours at present. Due to the construction of a new attraction on the movie set they included a complimentary "Green Dragon Inn" schooner as an apology/thank you which is available for a limited time as of July 2023.”

“This place is actually amazing. When I found out there was going to be an ice cream shop opening, I was SO happy. They do not have homemade ice cream, they have BLUE BELL ice cream, the top tier. Also great variety of food other than ice cream. Also I went tin there and they had KING CAKE FLAVOURED ICE CREAM ????Kid-friendliness: Also very kid friendly and I definitely recommend you take your kid here.”

“Garlic and herb wings were delicious and perfectly cooked. Chicken fried rice could have used a little seasoning but I used some seasoning that fell off the wings. Pork egg rolls were perfect. My wife's Mongolian beef with rice noodles was great. Total was 26 dollars and I gave the cashier 40 and she forgot to give me my change but the meal and service was worth it.”

“I happened to be in town from Gulfport and am so glad I found this place online. The food was second to none, which says a lot coming from a buffet. The prices were very reasonable and the service was great. Particularly, some of the best fried chicken I’ve had (BUT all food was fantastic). I will be coming back from the Gulf Coast to eat here with the rest of the family!”

“Such a cute little cafe! The workers are always so sweet and every snack and beverage I've tried has been absolutely amazing! The little indoor seating area is so cozy, a perfect place to chat or just unwind and enjoy the smells. The outdoor seating is bigger, and is a great spot to enjoy if you're visiting with a larger party. I love to sit out there and soak up the sun when the weather is nice. And you'll often get lucky and get to watch a train go by!”

“The food was absolutely delicious. I had the pollo ranchero and it was cooked to perfection. The server made the experience enjoyable for our family of 9. The bathroom was clean, which is a definite plus. The food arrived quickly and it was all hot. All 9 of us enjoyed our dinner.”

“Have eaten there several times. Each time I've had the 10oz steak - wonderful. Very flavorful and covers the plate. For my wife & I it's the best thing on the menue. Although atmosphere isn't high-end as what might be expected in a larger town, all is quite good. Service is friendly and has been polite and prompt. Small, locally owned business. “Food is good 90% of the time so that's the reason for the 4 stars. Depends on what time of day you stop by usually. Evening and night shift are mostly made up of high school age kids who cuss and act immature when there school mates show up. The morning and lunch crew which are made up mostly of hard working adults therefore you get the best service. The drive in is very nice and easily accessible.”
