Food is more than enough. Excellent flavor, large portions. They have the best refried beans of any place I have been in Mississippi. I had several different options there and not one of them have disappointed. Yet every time I’m there, the waitress is horrible. You have to stand up and get her attention for a drink, you have to ask her for to go plates, napkins, you have to ask for your check, you have to ask for salsa, The most un attentive waitress I have had every single time I’ve gone. I will continue to go, but I will definitely get a different waitress. Marleny needs training. You can understand if this is her first waitressing job and she’s only been there a couple of weeks, but I have been there several times over the past couple months. Cell phones are no place in a restaurant when you have customers.

This is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in the area. The food is fresh and flavorful with a large menu to choose from. We always have a pleasant experience when dining here! I always leave satisfied and happy! The fajita quesadillas are great, and the rice and beans are what you want when ordering Mexican. In other words it meets expectations! My husband likes the green verde sauce, and my son is obsessed with the salsa and cheese dip.
Needed a good meal after driving 8 hours. Fajitas beef and chicken for 2 was delicious, owner added extra fresh side salad and no beans, rice or wraps per our request. Salsa and chips delicious. Restroom clean , bar with TV.
The food was not as authentic as I expected. I got enchiladas that were made with corn tortillas and they just weren't good. I had the 5$ summer margarita that was too tart. I think I should gone for the quesdilla or the rice bowl. I will try again just to give it a chance. the decor is nice and service was okay.

I'm always down to try somewhere I haven't before, but like most people I think, I have "my Mexican restaurant" - the one I go to all the time. Karibe is something else in the best way possible. The menu is fairly inventive while still being very approachable, everything tastes amazing, and it's all affordable. Highly recommend trying it out.

Don’t let the 3.5 star rating keep you from trying this place. We had lunch here on our way through the Jackson area. The staff was friendly. The food was really good. Overall a great little spot to eat.
