The seating was a little cramped on the long tables. Two oversized people can't sit back to back in the isles. Just won't work. Everything else about the restaurant is great! If you never had the bread pudding by the salad bar, try it! You'll thank me later.

Mama Hamils is a part of life in the Madison/ Ridgeland area! I like to take my husband when we are in town. He can eat all the meats he wants, and I love getting all the sides. It is always incredibly busy, so keep that in mind. I have seen them let in so many people that there was no place to sit, but that just tells you how good the food is.

Today I visited Mama Hamils for the first time (03/28/24). I gave the overall experience a 5 star rating because the service was quick despite the large crowd. I paid $15 per person which isn’t much for a buffet & the drinks are included in the price. The staff was friendly, quick, and helpful. I will definitely be coming back, and the food is delicious.
