Spud Max? More like Spud Minimum. heh. I'm not sure why spending all your money on special plates means its okay to make mediocre food, but charging 10 dollars for a potato that has piece of shredded ham, a couple of bacon bits, and a tiny bit of shredded cheese is a joke. I also ordered the club sandwich, and it looks like it was made for a child. Trying to make your food "pretty" does not mean it can be flavorless and bite sized. The "famous" sweet tea wasn't sweet. 25 dollars for a mediocre meal. Avoid.

Currently still standing here waiting for my online order, a full 20 minutes after my pickup time. Nobody here seems to care. No explanation offered. No discount offered. No free anything offered. Honestly just nobody who works here cares at all.Food is ok here, but will not return due to complete and total lack of service.A handful of other people waiting alongside me for over 15-20 mins now for to-go orders.Awful.

This McAlister’s in Madison, MS used to be good, but it really has gone downhill. The food portions are small, my sandwich was made with a stale croissant that was hard and falling apart, they barely gave me any dressing for my salad which was not particularly fresh. Their service is careless…they don’t seem to care if they get it right or not. With takeout orders, especially, they are very stingy with the amount of food and condiments. You will not be getting your money’s worth, especially with takeout orders. I’ve given them a few chances hoping they could do better. I won’t be going or ordering from there again.

This was one of my favorite locations a few years ago. Post pandemic, a lot has changed. The last several orders were incorrect and the counter staff don't hide that they would rather be doing something else.

I've been eating at this location for years, but I don't anticipate going back anytime soon. My family and I went there tonight and found out that they now charge $1.99 for a cup of water (not bottled water, water from the drink machine). The seats of the first booth we went to were dirty. Dirty dishes were on some tables when we got there and still there when we left. The dining room just wasn't as clean as it should have been (tables and floor). My daughter ordered a fruit cup as her side, but when they brought her meal out they didn't include a side or tell us they were out of fruit cups. We asked why there was no side and then had to ask to substitute. My wife got a BLT with no avocado on one half a ridiculously thick slice of avocado on the other half. The waitress who brought our food out did give each of my daughters one-fourth of a cookie, which was a nice gesture.EDIT: My wife just told me that kid's meals are supposed to come with a cookie. I guess they were out of the small cookies too, so the one fourth of the large cookie wasn't actually a nice gesture after all. So much for silver linings.

Never been so disappointed in a McAlister's! The service UGHHHH, the sandwich, I got the BLT-A the bread you couldn't even tell had been toasted and had 1 thick slice of avocado, the sweet tea which is usually my favorite tea was hardly even sweet.
