On our way to New Orleans we stopped by this restaurant and it was great.. they were not that busy that evening and our order was literally on our table in less than 5 min. We live in chicago and we know good Mexican food, and this food was great.. the waiter was excellent.. we will stop on our way back home.

First, you have to drive through the gas station lot to get to them. I had the Carnitas and my wife had the grilled Pollo Fundido. Ask for extra pico de Gallo :) My carnitas were smaller pieces but had fantastic flavor. The Fundido was done just so with perfect juiciness, cooked but still crispy onions and the cheese dip sauce was a great assist. The chips are thin and crisp but the salsa while ok wasn't chunky or quite spicy enough (perfect for kids). Yes we will return.

I ordered Birria Tacos and when I asked for the sauce to go with the Tacos the man at the front that took my order was so disrespectful and told me if i came back i could not get it any more. But regardless of the worker that took my order it's really good .

Great salsa and chips! Unfortunately, that’s the only good thing I can say about this restaurant. My husband ordered the taco salad, which was terrible! The chili relleno which i ordered was passable. I’ve had better, but I’ve also had worse. I was looking forward to the beef taco after eating the chili relleno but was disappointed. Whatever spices they put in the beef made the beef almost inedible. Definitely not authentic Mexican taste! I will never eat there again.

I was seated in a comfortable booth, and was tended to quickly with my drink and chips/dip. I ordered and received my meal within 5 minutes and was impressed with the quickness of it. The nachos I had were fantastic and made with delicious queso cheese. The waiter was courteous as he asked often if everything was okay. 5/5 will definitely be back again!
