Absolutely delicious food. The place has wonderful ambience as well as good company. You feel as though you are in someone's eclectic home, being served by your friend. Enjoyed my mimosa, too! Perfect place for those willing to try something different - anti-restaurant feel and more of a homey atmosphere. I love it.

NOLA po boy was delicious! Also enjoyed the freash side salad and the Peruvian(I think) potatoes

Absolutely fantastic. I had the Nola Poboy with onion rings. Possibly the best poboy I've ever had and I'm from south Louisiana. Didn't meet the owner and chef, but she walks around and talks to the guests. If you're in the area, or just passing through, it totally worth it

Excellent, fresh food prepared with great pride and love. There's something for everyone -- delicious healthy options and plenty of Cajun/southern dishes. There's also a wonderful Mexican night every Thursday! Come in for great food and unforgettable memories. A true community staple.

So I've only been once, but want to say that we were really happy with both the service and the food. Very friendly, hometown atmosphere that makes us look forward to becoming regulars. The only improvement I can suggest is that the servers offer all menus. We were only given a sandwich menu but overheard later that others were available. The poboys and onion rings were awesome, but not being big bread eaters, we would definitely have chosen differently had we known that other items were available. I can't wait to go again!

I was looking for a unique place to eat on the way to a hunting camp. Something besides fast food. Boy, did I find it!!! Great service, friendly owner (Hi Mercedes!!), and most importantly delicious food!! It's so good, we are stopping there on the way home too!!

Very long service. Food is just ok. And in the end credit card machine was broken... Go somewhere else!

Warning: do not go to this place! It is straight out of an episode of kitchen nightmares!!! First of all, I walk in and there is an unattended definitely newborn baby sitting in a carrier on the counter near the kitchen. The layout is confusing and it took forever to get anyone's attention. Once we did get seated, it took another lifetime to get someone to take our drink order, which took another lifetime to get served to us to only be wrong. So, we waited another lifetime (are you getting the theme here?) to get someone's attention so that I could have a hot tea instead of an iced tea. Contrary to another review, the glasses had been washed...I know this because my glass tasted like straight up dish soap. When I got my orange juice, there was something floating in it. It took half an hour for my mother's eggs Benedict to arrive and when they did they were glacial, the English muffin looked like it was bought at the supermarket last week, and the 'Canadian bacon' was totally Oscar Meyer ham from the bodega next door. When I got my very simple breakfast plate it was also cold and the eggs made me want to throw up. They were definitely past their date. Long story short: save yourself a possible poisoning and just don't go!

I would give this place negative 10 if I could. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER eat here. I'm usually positive, and try to be grateful for at least something. Not so here, the service is horrible, the food...all of it...was cold, and while I could have lived with that, the eggs that my children received were spoiled. Nothing good to say.

Sorry, I love this place though it just opened and the pastry chef is out of town, and the espresso machine broke down this morning. Maybe it was every song played was a favorite of mine!?

It should be zero stars rank available for this place. I've been there once with my friends. We were waiting over one hour for our order. After that time waitress served all appetizers and main courses at the same time. I asked why and she told us that we should let her know that we want appetizers first (we actually did so). About food quality: - Shrimps not fresh - waitress told me the chef tasted one shrimp and told that it is fresh - chicken - it wasn't fresh and meet was also very dry Waitress had dirty suit. "Do not eat there" is the best what I can advise based on my experience with this place.

Do not eat here!!! I came to New Orleans to visit friends and eat some canjun/creole food. This restaurant look nice on the outside so we decided to try it. First it took 15 minutes for them to bring us our drinks, then they were out of the items that we wanted so we ordered something else. Thirty minutes later they served the table that arrived 20 after us before they served us... did i mention we hadvthree hungry kids. Needless to say I was angry. When I asked to speak to the manager, he was very apologetic and told us the food would be ready in 5 more minutes and that they would give us some soup and fries " on the house". Fifteen minutes later they came back to our table and told us they were out of red beans and rice! What? If they dont have food to serve, why do they let people order? We left without food and very livid.
