Decided to try this place after hearing so many good things about the food.Went to the line and waited and once I got up to the line my girlfriend asked a simple question "do you sell flats only" and the response from the younger woman behind the counter was snippy and rude as all get out and asked "how many?"My girlfriend wasn't going to order anything If they couldn't sell flats only so she hasn't even decided on type/quantity.So my girlfriend responded with "I'm not sure, I just was wondering if you could do flats only and she then proceeded to snappily ask again but louder "how many".I'm unsure how this woman still has a job working like that.I will NEVER recommend going here unless you want to be yelled at and be given an attitude from the start.Completely ridiculous.On the other hand the Chinese place next door to them is amazing and they even gave me a discount because of how they treated us at American Deli.If the owner see's this DO BETTER PLEASE!Super sad and disappointed to say the least.

Good food quick service. The Cajun ranch fries are more ranch than Cajun, they lack flavor. The wings are great though

Got yelled at from cashier.Yes I was not sure if the drinks weren’t missing because customer who I was delivering to added extra drink later.Cashier got 2 drinks ready but one was not correct size. If I was paying customer, I would want everything as I ordered.Cashier was yelling at me “if I knew how to read, you would know” “you are getting on my nerves “ in-front of over 10 or more people around.I was very embarrassed.Only if she had correct size drinks ready, it could’ve been avoided. Also, only if they train workers well, I wouldn’t have experienced this.As a delivery person, I would never yell at anyone even if wrong question was asked.

My experience was horrible. I went today 08/24/23 and the cashier had an additude from the beginning. My ticket number was 124. She added a drink to my order I didn’t ask for, slammed my ranch on the counter and didn’t even give it to me , slammed the change I gave her on the register as she counted it as well. Very unprofessional. She was African american, short dark skinned with glasses and a navy blue shirt . She needs to be fired!!!

The young ppl they have working there have bad attitudes and poor customer service, She told me they didn't do phone orders,when i got there a young man came to pick up,smhI ordered a salad, she gave me 1 ranch and wonderedwhy I had an extra attitude...!!!!!!Rasta $

The food is good. They have a variety, so you're not limited on choices. As for the atmosphere, it's a food court and there really isn't anything you can do to change that. What really makes this place stand out is the employees. Always polite and helpful and anyone who has shopped anywhere lately knows that it's harder and harder to find these days.

I will NEVER order from this place again. I ordered a wings meal, all flats with fruit punch. Food was cold, not all flats and my drink was missing. No one answers the phone when you call. I didn't get my money back or an offer to send replacement meal

I don't know who owns or runs this place but I would be embarrassed to that person. I usually bypass American Deli but this evening I did not. I walked up to 2 young ladies behind the counter with their hair tied in sleeping scarves. Neither one wanted to put their phone down to take my order. One finally decided it was her turn. She said "what's your order" so I ordered. The other one brought my food to the counter. She never stopped her cellphone conversation. She just opened my box to show my food, dashed a little requested salt on my fries. Then turned a walked off.

My mother and aunt and went to American Deli in Meridian Mississippi they charged my 87 year old mother twice for her order, the manager said sorry don’t know what to tell you. They refused to make it right. I would NOT advise going there.

Counter tops was dirty, 2 employees sitting behind the counter eating. If they was on break should be eating elsewhere. It was really filthy. The food is usually very good but who can eat from a place that doesn’t clean.

Wow , its good to know this place is still open since the mall is a ghost town its so sad . but their food is awesome I had the club sandwich I will be coming back . my husband loves their hamburgers. Keep it up !
