First off we had a great waiter, you couldnt ask for better service and the atmosphere was great as a bbq joint should be and clean. as for the food we both had sampler platters with ribs, brisket, pulled pork,chicken sausage and a few wings, mac and cheese, baked beans and toast(hers had okra and mac and cheese). All the sides were fine but none of the meat had Any smoked flavor at all! The ribs were done but very tough and no smoked flavor smell or taste, pulled pork tasted like onion but no smoke flavor, brisket had no smoke flaver and very tough same with the chicken, the wings had no type flavor other than it seems as if they were fried but no wing flavors added even the toast was bland, the sausage was great. If your expecting bbq as it should be i hate to say it but you will not leave here feeling like you got your bbq fix. I dont take giving this review lightly as the staff there was great but i been wanting to try this place for 2 years now and the bbq let me down , staff 10 sides 8 bbq 1

My wife and I along with some friends stop by to have lunch together. I drove us about 1hr 25 minutes one-way and the food was well worth the drive. You can't go wrong with the sampler platter. We are very much so looking forward to going back already. ?
Traveling through Mississippi with a stop in Meridian. Chose Squealers for the reviews they had received. Did not disappoint. We had the sampler entree: ribs, brisket, pulled pork, sausage, and wings. Served with 2 sides and corn fritters. Everything was absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and prompt. If we didn’t live so far away Squealers would be our new go to place.

Went in wasn’t greeted people were behind the bar. Sat down at across from the bar. Got up to get our own menus waiting and waiting after no one ever came to our table we walk out. Just passer by this area. Very disappointed.

Worst brisket I've ever had. Not sure if it should be call brisket at all. Thin sliced like bacon, gray in color with no smoke ring. No flavor at all, and appeared to be microwaved. Pulled pork was exactly the same, and the sweet tea tasted strange, possibly old. Wings appeared to be seasoned; however, had zero flavor. Nothing was smoked at all. Went to the bathroom, and the floors from the hallway were extremely sticky, sounded like I was walking on bubble rap. Sides and sausage was good, and the scenery was nice. Moving to town this summer and will not be back.
Love to come on Thursday evenings and listen to the live music!

We stopped by on our way back to Virginia. The food was amazing and the staff was super nice and laid back. If we are ever back that way we will 100% swing by. The fried pig(deep fried bacon) is delicious. My kid made me go back in and get her a second order for the road.Kid-friendliness: They was extremely nice to my kid!
